Savannah wasn't in bed when Shawn awoke.
"Babe?" He called, padding around the creaky house.
The floorboards creak and groan as he walks to the kitchen in hopes of finding his bride.
"Morning." She smiles when he walks through the doorway.
"Good morning." He says planting a kiss to the side of her head.
"How'd you sleep?" She asks moving around the kitchen, making breakfast.
"I forgot what it was like to sleep with you in my arms." He catches her wrist and pulls her into him. "Why weren't you there when I woke up?" He whispers.
"I'm sorry, I just have so much that I have to do today. I also picked Aaliyah up, I couldn't wake you."
"Liyah's here?"
"Bathroom." She calls out.
"Hey." He turns his head as she pokes hers out of the bathroom.
"Hey."
"I made you breakfast." Savannah says turning out of his embrace back to the burner. She hands him a plate full of eggs and bacon.
"Thanks Baby." He smiles, leaning down and capturing her lips in a sweet kiss. "You didn't have to."
"I wanted to."
"Savannah ready to start on your hair?" Aaliyah asked leaning out of the bathroom.
"Um, I think so." She says looking around.
"No she's not." Shawn says catching both of their attention.
"I'm not?"
"No she's gonna sit here and have breakfast with me. Then she can do her hair." He says looking her in the eye.
"I didn't make anything for myself."
"I can share." He says setting his plate down on the table in the kitchen, pulling two folding chairs out. "Sit."
She sits and stares at him as he cuts a piece of his egg and holds the fork up for her to eat.
"Shawn." She says starting to protest.
"No, it's my first morning back and I want to sit here and have breakfast with you."
"Okay." She sighs, taking the bite. "Wow that's really good." She smiles, chewing her bite.
"Is it?" He says cutting another piece taking the bite for himself. "Yep, it's amazing."
They sit and eat together, stealing flirty glances, holding hands under the table.
"I have to do my hair now, I'm already behind schedule." She says, plate cleared.
"I'll do the dishes." He smiles.
"No I can get them."
"Babe, this is my place too. You don't have to do everything. Go get your hair done, I'll clean this up."
"Thank you."
"No need to thank me." He grins, pecking at her lips.
"Okay Liyah I'm ready." Savannah says standing and joining Aaliyah in the bathroom where she has set up all of her things.
"About time."

Shawn was kicked out of the house when Aaliyah started on her makeup. Claimed it was bad luck to see the bride, even though this wasn't the most traditional wedding.
