You were in a Starbucks getting a (favorite Starbucks drink) when you looked out the window at the car long awaiting for you to create a humorous driving video. You sighed, knowing how bad LA traffic was and remembering that it was 9 AM. "Too early to be awake..." You groaned as you turned to the barista giving you your drink. "Thank you!" You said, leaving as the drink was already paid for. You took a few sips of your (drink) and put it in the cup holder, starting to drive, and turning on the camera.
"Hey guys! (Y/n) here, and today is the day that even more people die. You know why? I'm driving once again!" You start the video. "Gosh, I don't know why they haven't taken away my license yet!" You joke.
It'd been a good two hours of driving around and your video was finished. You noticed that there was a tender greens near you, so you quickly made your way there for some 'breakfast', if you could even call it that. It was more of lunch. You walked in, sitting down at your table, and you ordered your favorite things. Herb brushed tuna, The original Tender Greens salad, and mashed potatoes as a side. Your phone rang almost as soon as you finished your order, and you looked at your phone, only to have a facetime request from an unknown number. You usualloy wouldn't answer, but something told you that this was an important call. You took a deep breath and answered. The moment you saw the girl on the other end of the call, you could've practically jumped for joy. "(Y/N)!" The girl called out, a huge grin.
"Devyn!" You responded, a smile reaching your face too.
"(Y/N), you have to get to downtown LA's Tender Greens right now, I set you up with a little date!"
"Wait what? Devyn! I'm already here but I ordered something already..."
"That's fine, I told them to look for you. You're going to be so excited when you see who I paired you up with!"
"Devyn," You chuckled, "If I'd known I'd be going on a date today I would've made myself look better than this!" You both laughed, "And I would've ordered less. I didn't eat breakfast." You chuckled.
"Oh trust me," Devyn smiled, "He loves food almost as much as you do, especially Tender Greens."
"Haha, well I really miss you Devyn. We've gotta hang out sometime!"
"You've got that right! Want me to text your date and ask him to bring you to mine?"
"You sure he'll know the way?" Devyn chuckled at your remark, confusing you a bit.
"Yeah, he'll know."
"Well alright then. If you trust him, I trust him."
"Well, I see him walking your way, so I'm going to head out. See ya after your date (Y/N)!"
"See ya Devyn!" You said, and with that, you hung up, and turned, only to see the boy you'd moved to LA for. Colby Brock was the boy that Devyn had set you up with.
'God I really wish I looked nicer and ordered less...' You thought, happily greeting him. 'This is going to go either amazingly, or absolutely terribly, so let's try my ass of to make a good first impression.' You promised yourself. And with that, the date begun.
