"I assume you're (Y/N)?" Colby said, and his sweet voice rang in your head.
"Yes, and you're Colby Brock if I'm guessing correctly." You chuckled, and he chuckled too.
"Yes, it's nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too." You said, standing up and shaking his hand. He sat across from you, and you both just started talking about your lives and your youtube accounts.
"So, how'd you get to know Devyn?" He asked.
"We ran into eachother one time and we both ended up being fans of each other and we just kinda hit it off. It was pretty cool." You explained. He asked about you and you asked about him, and he eventually ordered, the same, if not more, amout of food as you. He ordered salt and pepper chicken, a tender greens salad, and California sprouted rice.
"Devyn told me you were a youtuber too, what do you like to do?"
"Oh, I just make a few funny videos here and there. I do some driving videos and make jokes out of those. I've always been interested in exploring places and stuff though. What are your favorite things to film?"
"Well I do exploration videos with groups sometimes. Maybe you could join us one time?"
"That'd be awesome! Are you sure they wouldn't mind me tagging along?"
"Im sure they wouldn't! And as for your question I'd have to say that my favorite type of video to film would be exploration videos and pranks."
"Your house sounds fun!" You chuckled, and he laughde too. To be honest, you were suprized at how well you were both hitting it off, and you owed it all to Devyn. If it weren't for her, you might not have ever met Colby in person.
The date eventually came to a close, and as you went to reach for your purse, Colby spoke up.
"No, let me pay."
"No, it's okay."
"Really, we're here on a date together and I really enjoyed myself. You seem like a really amazing girl. The least I can do is pay and ask if you'd like to go on another sometime?"
"I'd love too! But only if I get to pay!" You chuckled, and he laughed too.
"We'll see about that one." He smiled, paying for the meal, and you both headed out. "So, Devyn wants you to come over, I'm not sure if she told you yet, haha." Colby mentioned.
"Yeah, she said it pretty much last thing when we were on the phone. Mind if I follow you? I've got my car here and all."
"I don't mind." And with that, your date had officially ended, and you'd get to see the girl you quickly became best friends with, along with her roomates who you'd looked up to for years upon years.
