14. Known Face with Unknown Heart

2 Years Later

LONDON

Harry's P.O.V.

"So basically, you are saying that you want to postpone the meeting which was already scheduled to be held one week ago?" Liam  folded his arms over his chest and was literally taunting me, to which ofcourse, I wasn't paying any attention.

"Yes!!"I sighed. "Finally you got it!!" I took another sip from my drink.

"Harry!!" Liam finally turned around and kept his hands over the bar shelf. "You are impossible!!"

"I know!!"

"What the hell you know?? Huh?? Tell me!!" Liam stood up from his place. "You are here in this bar at 3 in afternoon!! You are literally gonna kill yourself if you continue drinking like this!!" finally he bursted out. His anger was visible in his brown eyes. At that moment only I realised where the hell I was sitting. I was sitting in that bar..drowning myself with alcohol..where everything was blurred because of thick layers of smoke building up. There were some people dancing over the dance floor and the loud music was making us to forget everything. But it wasn't crowded yet.

"Liam its my life and I can do whatever I want to!!" I knew this wasn't the supposed to be answer!! But my life had became so useless at this point that I didn't care about anything else.

"Shut up!! Ok??" Liam hit me back with his words. "You are the owner of The Styles Publications !!! Why can't you fucking realise it?" Oh yeah..I was now the so called owner of that publication house which actually never belong to me. 

"Oh..thanks for telling me." I taunted him.

"Harry !!" Liam kept his hand over my shoulder. "See..Its not you I am most worried about!! Its Gemma. Think about her..she is only having you in her life and if you keep killing yourself with alcohol then... You know what I mean!!" Liam looked me straight into my eyes. 

"Okay... I am going now!!" Liam took his cell phone from the shelf. "And Harry come back soon and please try to avoid this much of alcohol atleast for Gemma!!" he went away..disapperaing into the crowd between the dim red and blue lights and thick layer of smoke...leaving me in my deep thoughts.

"Gemma is only having me in her life!!" my mind mumbled. "Mom!!" and this was the word which came to my mind after that. At that moment I had just wanted to throw my glass away and bang myself against the wall and cry out my heart loud. "Why do you left me Mom?" I always kept asking this question to myself..to her but never got any answer.

My life became miserable and meaningless the day my mom left me. I still remember that moment when she was lying before me on that hospital bed..saying her last words.."Take care of Gemma for me Harry!! And please go back to your Dad!!" I wasn't saying anything at that moment..it was like words weren't coming out of me!! My eyes were all red and tears covered my face.

"Don't leave me mom!!" I kept saying this but nothing happened. She left me and Gemma..forever. She suffered from brain tumer and worst part was that I never knew about it. When she was at her last stage...no one was able to save her. She said that she didn't wanted us to worry about her diseases but if she had told me earlier..I would have saved her no matter what it cost.

But..she was dead now and that was the truth we both brother and sister had to live with.

"Go back to your Dad!!" her last words made to go back to my dad..the decision which I still regret!! 

My dad was a multi millioner!!  He owned many international companies in which I never had interest. He married my mom and left her saying that he had wanted to concentrate on his carrier and he couldn't live with us anymore. I always hated him for doing this to my mom and to us. But..everything costs!!
