Izaya's missing Sister (Durarara fanfiction)

chapter 2: journey to Agartha

Illia/Yuki's pov ~7 years latter~
I'm now 15 and my life is perfect........almost, I have friends and a family who loves me, I help out in the field with uncle and I explore the island, I know every inch of the island by heart, or so I thought, I know all the perfect swimming spots and the fishing spots, I know how to grow many different vegetables and what fruit are ripe in what seasons, but no matter how much I try I find myself thinking of Him, thinking about my older brother Izaya Orihara..........I even forgot my real name but I never forgot him, I sometimes have dreams about seeing izaya and apologizing to him and explaining why I did it, running away and the dreams always end in too ways, 1 he forgives me and hugs me telling me it's ok, or 2 he hates me and wants nothing to do with me, I sometimes wake up crying because of that, deep down I miss Izaya, I remember a long time ago when I was little there was a cherry tree in the center of the city in a park, it was the biggest tree there and every year izaya would take me to go see it in autumn before the snow started to fall, the tree had beautiful pink leaves and it was even more beautiful with frost on them, I wonder if izaya still goes to see the tree? It's almost that time of the year, the beginning of autumn, my favorite season! I'm now on top of my rock listening to the radio and I hear a strange sound, (sounds like Lugia's song from Pokemon), the sound sounded like a song that a heart would sound like, it's so beautiful! As I listen to the song I watch the sun start to go down and I hear the jingle noise of yumi's collar and I look behind me and saw yumi sitting behind me, the fading light going threw yumi's fur making the blue in her fur shine and stand out, I've had yumi for 7 years now and somehow she looks and acts like a kitten still! No one knows were yumi came from though, me and yumi watch the sun going down then I heard uncle say/yell:"Yuki! Time for dinner!" I got up and put my radio in my secret hide out then ran to the house with yumi running behind me, uncle made creamy stew that tasted far too sweet but I liked it anyways, I remember izaya making creamy soup and it came out kinda salty heh, after I ate dinner I crawled into bed with my new laptop, uncle and auntie got it for me and got a tv that used Internet and a house phone, I've had this laptop for a week now and one day I got a strange email saying I joined a group called the Dollors, cool! I logged in using my password and the user name Gia showed up, I did not pick that name for my log in, it was given to me by who ever gave me the password.

Gia: h......hi everyone I'm new here heh
Kanra: new people are always welcome Especially girls! More girls in the group the better!

Gia: ya heh

Gia: o......ok
I got a private chat invite and I opened it seeing it's Kanra
Kanra: there now tell me about yourself some
Gia: oh ummmm I live on a small island with my family
Kanra: oh cool so your own island? You must be rich!
Gia: n.....no it's not a private island, and I'm not rich, my family are farmers
Kanra: oh........that sounds fun
Gia: ya it can be some times
Kanra: oh cool, tell me more about yourself
Gia: oh ummmm I have a cat named Yumi
Kanra: that's cute, I love cats!
Gia: ya me too ^-^ it's getting late I have to go, good night Kanra
Kanra: good night Gia
~Gia has logged off~
I shut off my laptop and crawled into bed and yumi curled up beside me and fell asleep, that Kanra girl was very curious about me heh, I drifted off to sleep thinking about a lot of stuff.
Izaya's pov
I logged off the chat and spun in my chair then thought who the hell calls themselves Gia?! Gia means goddess! The nerve! I sighed some then looked up the email address to that user and it says:"Yuki Reusaki, age 15, living on shiroharu island" well now that's interesting, Shiroharu island is the place we're I was born, this is very interesting indeed, I started to dig more and found pictures of people on that island and my eyes go wide seeing a picture of Illia! She was in a school uniform and had two girls beside her, her hair looked like it sparkled in the sun like the ocean or sky, she looked so beautiful, so that's where she is at, clever girl, I will have to go there soon, I hear a noise and then I saw what looked like a golden mirror next to the wall, when did that??? No one is here besides me so it's a bit creepy, I got up and faced the mirror towards my work place and smiled some, I can't wait to finally have my little sister back.
Illia/Yuki's pov
I woke up and got ready to go to school, on my way I cross the huge bridge and my eyes go wide and shivers go down my spine as I see a huge creature! At first I thought it was a bear but once I looked closer it had scales like a lizard and it looked like the fur was spiked and it had huge mushrooms growing on it! It saw me and charged at me growling, I turned and ran, as I ran my foot slipped and I fell to the ground then I saw a boy with a sword who attacked the creature! I watched as the creature died and fell off the bridge then the boy helped me up and he told me his name was Levi then he turned and ran away, I ran to were the creature was and looked down seeing the rushing water but no creature, I watch plenty of scary movies to know a creature when I see one, I shook my head and ran to school, the teacher had to take a leave of absence and there was a substitute teacher named Mr. Morisaki, he was tall and had black hair, I sat down and I heard him talk about a myth, legend of a place called Agartha, he spoke of it as if it was real, after school I asked him about it and he said Agartha is the land of the dead were you can bring back loved ones from the dead, it sounded like a great adventure! He then said that it was getting late and I had to go straight home, I nodded and well I was walking i see yumi! She meowed at me then ran off, I chased her to my rock were I saw levi! He looked at me and I was about to say something when a helicopter showed up and Levi grabbed my hand and we started to run, the helicopter was now shooting at us! We wind up in a cave I've never seen and he pushed a huge boulder infront of the cave, I've noticed he has the same necklace that I have, the same crystal! He saw this and asked me were I got it and called it a clavis, that's key in Greek right???? I told him it belonged to my mother, he nodded and before we could say more, the boulder exploded and we got up and ran then we saw a huge Dino creature that looked like a gigantic crocodile! It looked like it was blind and Levi said it was a gatekeeper who lost all its senses, it attacked him and he dodged it then soldiers ran in and shot it! Levi did not like that at all and he got shot in the arm! We both ran until it was a dead end and there was one solder who told me to put my clavis onto the wall and he had his gun pointed at Levi, I did as I was told and the wall vanished! Then me, Levi and the soldier ran in before the wall closed up! The solder revealed himself as Mr. Morisaki! I was shocked and Levi tried to attack him but Mr. Morisaki punched Levi in the gut making him fall to the ground then he grabbed my arm and walked to what looked like water, he said it was Vita Aqua, you could breath when in it so no chance of drowning, I gulped as me and him walked down deeper into the strange liquid until we were both under it and he was right about being able to breath in it, I walked with him and saw fish swimming and as we go deeper down the darker it got until we got to stairs going up and and then dry land and I see what looks like a huge buck! Then Yumi jumped out of my bag and ran up to it and meowed some then ran back to me, I picked her up and the Guardian let us pass, I hope Levi is ok, I can't exactly turn back now, if Izaya was here he would probably want to find any and everything then try to become the god of Agartha! Mr. Morisaki said what yumi did could be useful...... I'm not going to let him use my cat at all! We walk past the huge buck threw an archway then we see a huge field as far as the eye can see! Then we hear a loud sound that sounded like a bell! We looked up and saw a huge flying ship! Mr. Morisaki called it a flying arch! Then my mother's crystal necklace began to glow! Light shooting out of it in many different directions, I told Mr. Morisaki that it belonged to my mother, he told me that we can use it and we had to follow the arch, we walked down steps going down the hill we were on and I could tell that this is going to be a long trip! I wish I had brought my laptop, I did bring a camera I was using for a school project, we crossed rivers and planes of water and grass, we found a huge rundown village! I ran ahead to go find anything, to my luck I found potatoes as big as my arm, 3 of them! I looked around more and found huge carrots and salt! Oh and old blankets! Hmm what else can I find? There is not very much here, Mr. Morisaki made a fire pit, by this time it's getting pretty dark, I brought the stuff I found to camp and boiled the potatoes and carrots in a huge pot that Mr. Morisaki had and then wrapped the potatoes in tin foil and did the same with the carrots and put them on the fire to cook, after they were dune we let the food cool before eating, yumi cowed down on her food like if it was nothing! As I started to eat Mr. Morisaki looked at me.
Mr. Morisaki: is this fun for you?
Me: It's an adventure so ya it's kinda fun to be out here
Mr. Morisaki: I see
We both look up at what looks like the night sky but saw no stars, only aurora lights! It's so beautiful! it was very hard for me to sleep, auntie and uncle might be worried about me.
Levi's pov
I see no sign of Yuki or that man, hmmmm they have a clavis so they should be safe right? I got onto my horse and got to my village, it has a huge castle in the middle and I go in to speak to the elders, they told me that top sidders are not aloud in Agartha and that I have to take the clavis from them! Great! I walk out and a girl about my age named sage ran up to me and hugged me, I've known her since me and here were young children, the elders said me and her are destined to be together, when I told her my new mission she got a bit scared and begged me not to go but I know I have too, I went home and gathered my stuff I needed and my horse, by this time it's almost day, I ride past sage who shouts: "YOU BETTER COME BACK TO ME ALIVE LEVI!" I smiled and waved goodbye to her as I ride off, I could feel the warmth of the sun on my skin as I ride.
Illia/Yuki's pov 
I hear thunder and it starts to rain, me and Mr. Morisaki are under a huge rock being held up by another huge rock! They both look flat, Mr. Morisaki put a pot in the rain to get water then he used veggies I found and made soup, I helped him cut the veggies and even a potato, yumi seemed to like the soup even though it has no seasoning in it, I kinda like it, as I eat the soup I watch the rain, Mr. Morisaki was smoking a cigarette and I sighed some, the rain was making me very tired so I curled up with a thick blanket, the next day when I woke up I saw the most beautiful rainbow ever! It had every color imaginable! I was on a hill watching the sunset after we found a place to make camp, as I watched the sun go down I see the flying arch right infront of me! It was gold and had eyes! It was a living creature! Wow! I told Mr. Morisaki what I saw and he said it was incredible! I even took pictures! I've been taking pictures since we got to Agartha, that night I laid on a bed role and had an awful dream of everyone I knew dying because of Izaya! I woke up but I could not move! I felt like bricks were on my chest! Then I saw a gray-ish looking creature with red eyes looking at me! Yumi hissed at it and it hit Yumi! I hope she is ok! Then everything went dark! When I woke up I felt sunlight hit my skin and I looked around, I was in the ruins of a huge building like an arena! There was no way out except to climb, I'm glad I slept with my shoes on! I saw a crying little girl about 5 years old and walked to her, she hugged me and cried, I patted her head and got an idea, if those creatures brought us both here then they might want to eat us! I put the crying girl on my back and told the girl to hang on as I climbed, I had no idea how long I was there for but im going to be damned if I let those creatures eat me or the little girl! I must save her! As I climb I see it starts to get dark and those creatures are coming out of the ground! Then to my surprise I see Levi! He grabs onto my arm pulling me and the little girl up! We then start running down steps and then a side of a building going down! The creatures are following us in the shadows! Then Levi told me to jump! I did and he catches me! Then we run more as the sun sets! As darkness sets I see the creatures lung for us as we jump into a fast flowing river! It seems like the creatures can't go into water! One got Levi pretty badly though and I swim after Levi and the young girl trying to reach them and I blacked out, when I woke up I was in water and yumi was on my chest, then I saw Mr. Morisaki, he looked worried? I got up and saw Levi and the girl! Mr. Morisaki bandaged up Levi, I thanked him and I was there when Levi woke up then he saw Mr. Morisaki and got up to attack him! I tried to stop Levi, he demanded that I give him the clavis, I told him no and he got mad, then Mr. Morisaki knocked Levi out! I put Levi on his horse with help of Mr. Morisaki and the little girl made a noise and pointed down stream, so we followed the water and found a path then followed it threw mountains then we saw a huge village! It took all day to get there, then we saw people! They looked scared and ran to the village, I wonder why there so scared? We get to the stone bridge and see soldiers! Then the little girl got happy and ran to them then stopped.
Soldier: halt there! You brought back this child yes? We are thankful for that but you are top siders! Our village does not like top siders, you will have to turn back
Me: ummmm can you at least help this boy? He's been badly injured
Soldier: I cannot! Be gone!
Old Man: wait! Please! forgive my villages rudeness not even saying thanks for returning my granddaughter, come stay the night at my place
Solder: wait what?! You can't!
Old Man: must I suffer of this dishonor not even doing that much?!
After that he brought us to his home, he first treated Levi's wounds and gave him medicine, the old man said that Levi will be ok but it will be a while before he can get up and move, he then told me about a terrible clan of creatures that once were human!  He said they were a type of demon called the Yokai but turned into terrifying cursed creatures called the Izoku and they can't go out in sunlight and they can't go in water and they eat people who are half blooded! Meaning the person's dad/mom was from Agartha and the other one is from top side, why did it attack me?! I follow him and Mr. Morisaki out to the main house, there I saw some young boys who shouted at us to leave and threw rocks at us! The old man said that the people here are scared of us because a long time ago people from up top wanted the treasures of Agartha so they came and killed for power , the village were all destroyed except for a few hear and there, they then used the clavis's to shut the gates so no one could enter Agartha from up top.
Old man: could you help me with preparing dinner miss?
Me: ya sure
I followed him to the kitchen, it was not that big and had lots of food I've never seen before! I cut a giant  white carrot looking thing, as I'm peeling the skin off it I see Yumi trying to play with it and the old man looks surprised and called Yumi a Yadoriko saying he has never seen a Yadoriko get along so well with a topsider, I giggled and told him that Yumi is my pet cat, he told me that Yadoriko are animals that serve along side humans until they can't and become one with a Quetzacoatl and go back to the earth, that sounds cool in a way but sad, he then asked if I could give the small girl a bath, I nodded some, I really needed a bath, my cloths are all dirty, after I gave the girl a bath and got her dressed then I got in and relaxed, I used a shampoo that was green that smelled like green tea! The same with conditioner, I washed up and got out and dried then got dressed in a cream colored dress with red markings and walked to the kitchen, on my way I pass Mr. Morisaki and I asked how I looked, he told me that the dress was not my style or something, well sitting I saw how all the food looked so good and tasted good too! I've never had such good food before! I watch as Mr. Morisaki talked to the old man about bringing back the dead, the old man said it is forbidden to here in Agartha then Mr. Morisaki started asking questions like how, the old man simply said that life and death have a meaning and it's not permitted to disturb the balance of nature, Mr. Morisaki got a bit mad and said he just wanted to reunite with his lost love, this made the old man a bit angry and said that grieving over the dead is proper but to continue to pity them is not right then said that he should not have involved me into his delusion, he then said I came at my own free will, that's not exactly true though, I hear them fighting and the old man told me to take the young girl to bed for him, I nodded and picked the young girl up and put her in bed, after that I went to check up on Levi who was now awake.
