Chapter 15: Impact

I woke up with a large headache spreading across my head as I massaged my temples waking up.

It was bumpy and it seemed like we're moving.. Inside a Wagon?

"Sis!" I heard Kai cried beside me as he rushed beside.

No.. We are not inside a Wagon..

We're inside a Carriage.

"Um.. What are we doing in A Carriage?" I asked confusedly looking at him as he sighed.

"There is no escaping questions, is there?" He laughed nervously as I raised one of my eyebrows at him.

"What the Hell is going on?" I repeated this time sounding more serious than before. Kai looked at me sadly.

"We had to split up." My eyes widened of his bluntness as I looked at him wide eyed.

I didn't feel any pain except my head ache. I looked down to my arm seeing it all covered with a bandage and wrist.. There is supposed to be a Bruised there but it seemed.. Disappeared?

That's Impossible.

"Kai." I looked back at him seeing him avoiding my gaze.  He looked completely nervous as his neck where dripping sweat.

"How Long have I been Passed out?" I asked eyeing him as he whistled looking out the window biting his lip.

"Oh, not for long. Just for a Couple of weeks--"

"WEEKS!?" I screamed.

I've been Passed out for a Couple of flipping Weeks!?

"HOW IS THAT NOT FOR LONG!?" I started yelling at him.

He gulped.. And he called my name as I softened.

"Look Nya.. If you want explanations..-"

"OH BELIEVE ME. Now that I know for how long I've passed out I WANT TO KNOW." I cut him off and glared at him as he smiled nervously.

"Okay.. A lot has happened this past three weeks." Kai started crossing his arms and he looked away from me.

I raised one of my brows As I tell him to go continue on.

"When you weren't around.. Ghosts multiplied than we thought. The Barrier finally broke and they escaped the Castle territory taking over the Whole Ninjago Kingdom."

"Why Didn't you try to wake me up!?" I yelled at him again making him jumpy this time.

"We tried everyday Nya. But we eventually gave up." He said frowning and looking away again.

"Except for Jay who wouldn't leave your side for countless nights until he had to be Captured by Morro." I gasped.

Jay was taken?

"H-how..?" I stuttered asking my own bro what had happened.

"He gave us some time to escape.. Here we are in a carriage heading to our own kingdoms. While Jay is being held captive by those merciless Morro." He explained.  I felt a tear roll down my left cheek.

"Hey.. We will get Jay back." He comforted me and pulled me into a hug.

I was crying the next thing I know... I've missed so much.. I've missed everything that happened And I wasn't even there to help him. To help them! Everyone in the kingdom!

"Kai.." I called my bro as he hummed in response.

"What was the reason Our Elements didn't mix..?" I asked him straightforwardly as he breathed in and out deeply.
