Chapter 16: Seperate Ways

Months have passed..

I was doing horseback riding with my brother who seemed to serious and changed as months passed.

Since day one of living here. Kai look stressed and super bothered. I tried to ask him what's wrong but always ignore me or change the subject if i ask.

"Let's go back. The sun's already setting." He told me. His fakeness was just too readable.

I've known my brother for a very long time.

I can't take this idiot worrying me.

This time. I'll get him talking.

I took out my sword. Silently not making the metal hit anything to make a sound.

As a Ninja.. He sensed it. And turned to me.

"Nya Stop it." He glared at me as I got off my horse and positioned to a fighting stance.

"Fight me and I will." I challenged him. I was a daring damned little girl.

Sure I was trained to be princesssy this past few months. But that doesn't mean those past Countless nights of still training to be a Ninja doesn't count.

Kai sighed and took out his sword slowly and his eyes where filled with a dead serious look.

"There is seriously no stopping you." He muttered under his breath as we circled around the fields.

The swords we are holding are real ones. I may get a cut because in the ninja team..

Kai is the skillfull In using swords.

Later on.. Kai attacked me. He striked targetting my neck as My senses picked up as I blocked his attack.

That was close.

"Nice reflexes." He said gritting his teeth as later on.. He smirked.

That Little devilish little smirk.

He got me off guard by kicking my feet off the ground. I fell as he pointed the tip of his sword to my neck.

"But you're still too inexperience to fight an Expert." He said. Pulling me up. My dress got dirty but I didn't really care.

I looked at him as he offered me a hand to stand up. I sat up and later on.

Never let your guard down.

I blasted water to his face as he fell aback by my sudden action.

Kai hated always getting wet or splashed with water.

"Nya!" He screamed glaring at me as I laugh.

"Never let your guard down! You use to tell that to me! Look what happened." I continued as he rubbed his eyes and scowled at me.

"I swore. I taught you to never play dirty." He stood up.

"Uh! Uh-Uh! You never said that this is supposed to be fair!"

I stopped laughing and sighed deeply..

"So.. What happened..?" I turned my head back to him as he was blank.

We stared at each other for awhile..

But suddenly.. Kai's eyes gleamed..

They where shining as thesun started setting..

They where glassy.

"You know.. I'm your sister. You can tell anything to me." I said giving him a reassuring smile as  his sword fell to the ground.

He pulled me into a Hug.

I flinched of course. It was sudden.

"I'm Sorry! I'm sorry! I'm So so sorry!" He cried infront of me.

I Never thought seeing him cry again. But now here he is..

My big Brother crying infront of me..

"Kai." I called his name. Making him hug me tightly.

"Please don't go after what you'll know.."

He continued being emotional.

I don't have any idea of what's happening.

Flashback

Kai's POV
After getting away from Morro's territory. We ran away to the Monastery. Jay carried My sister to the healing room. Wu was there with Zane.

Nya wasn't waking up anytime soon. We've waited for days.

I hated Jay for being A Jerk. We had fights and as always. Cole would always seperate us apart.

He was a good friend.

After Jay and I's fight.. He would always come to me and Calm me down..

But until the worst day for has yet to come..

The barrier that Wu put up around the Castle.

Disappeared and the next day.. The whole Kingdom where surrounded by Morro's army. Screams of people woke all of us up.

I was the one to blame..

Jay and I had another argument.

We where bombarded by Army of Spirits outside the Monastery Door.

Sensei where fighting off the Ghosts using his Golden powers as he summoned his Yang Dragon. While we took our escape.

My temper had reached its peak. I was really angry at Jay. First it was just us whispering but we started raising our voices and he yelled at me.

He was the loudest and our escaping route later on where crowded with spirits. Cole yelled at us to go.

It was too late for us.. As we thought.

But then.. Someone decided to Sacrifice himself..

Cole devided to give us some time.

He let himself captured and that's when everything fell apart.

Everyone decided to leave.

Seperated ways.

Jay ran away.

Zane tried to chase after Jay.

Sensei was dumbfounded. As I was the only one left with my Unconscious sister.

He sent helped to Kingdoms.
