When John Lennon starts his band called 'The Quarrymen' in 1959, his sister, Anna, and her best friend, Lanie, are there with John and the lads through his whole musicial journey. Anna and Lanie are both 16 and John his friends are 18. Anna and Lanie get invited to see the 'The Quarrymen's' first gig. They all become close friends, when Anna and Lanie fall for two of the boys.
