10) Alone Together

Riot's P.O.V.

   "Umh... I really don't want pizza." Ronnie shrugged. "Oh. My. God," Ryan gasped. "Who are you? What did you do to Ronnie?" Ryan yelled. "ALIEN!" Max yelled, earning as dirty looks. We all laughed until we couldn't breathe. "But seriously, not in the mood for pizza." Ronnie shrugged again. "Then, what are you in the mood for, mate?" Jacky asked. Ronnie just sat there, staring into space. Then a smile came upon his lips. "Hot wings." he said. "Hot wings over pizza?" Derek tsked. "Pft, why not?" Ronnie asked, as he stood up. "Would you like to come with?" he asked. 

  I looked up from gulping my soda, and reliezed he was talking to me. I shrugged, then nodded, grabbing his hand. Ronnie dragged me out, and smirked as he wrapped his arm around my waist. "You look nice... did I ever tell you that?" he asked. I blushed, and turned away. Now that we're alone together... is he going to start flirting with me? I looked up at him, and smiled. I glanced around, and looked back at him curiously. "We're going to.... Wing City!" Ronnie yelled. I smiled again, and nodded. I looked back down the street and- "Alex!" I screamed. I ran up to the little boy, who looked up at me, lost, and scared. "Mommy?" he asked, his eyes getting wide.

  I wanted to cry. I looked up at Ronnie. He put a reassuring hand on my shoulder, and nodded at me. Tears escaped, and I smiled. "Yes, baby. I'm your mommy." I lied, nodding. "Daddy?" Alex asked, looking at Ronnie. My smile got wider, and I looked at Ronnie. He smiled, and picked Alex up. "Yeah. Mommy and daddy are here now." Ronnie smiled. I could tell he wanted to cry to. I watched Alex hug Ronnie, and I melted. I hugged them, and we all 3 cried. "Oh my God! Ariel! She'll be so happy!" I said. "Well... let's go tell her, and the guys!" Ronnie said. The whole way there... he never did let Alex down.
