3rd POV

Mary went outside, locking the door behind her, and went to her car and started to drive off to work.

She then realized she had forgot her phone, so she soon enough found a place to turn around and headed back.

When Mary was turning onto the street, a car weny flying into the side of her, when that car was not supposed to.

*Current POV*

Andrew was terrified at the sight.

A car crash, containing a stranger and.. his mother.

Andrew ran outside, his eyes glossy from tears that threatend to fall. He ran to the car crash scene, grabbing his phone out of his pocket and calling 9-1-1.

After Andrew contacted 911, he ran to the side of the car, that was flipped upside down in a ditch, trying to see if his mother was okay.

The ambulance had arrived and told Andrew to back away from the scene, so they could get the two citizens out from inside of the cars and to the hospital immediately.

Andrew was hesitant but backed away from the scene.

As his mother was being carried on a cot into one of the vehicles, Andree ran to the worker and asked if he could ride to the hospital with her.

Unfortunately they said No, leaving Andrew, not being able to hold back the tears.

Andrew ran back inside, tears falling, and grabbed his car keys, heading to the hospital.

*timeskip*

Andrew approached the lady at the desk.

"I'm here to see Mary, Mary Kay Serveas." Andrew said, his eyes red and puffy from the tears that won against him and fell down his cheeks.

"Room 241, second floor." Said the lady, smiling politely.

Andrew walked at a fast pace to the room he was approaching.

"239.. 240.." Andrew mumbled to himself.

"241" Andrew said, slowly opening the door.

There was a doctor writing on a piece of paper, turning to the gentleman.

"Youre here to see this patient I assume, yes?" The doctor asked, putting down his notebook.

"Yes sir, she's my mother." Andrew said, not making eye contact with the doctor.

"I see. I'll leave you alone for a bit." The doctor said, slowly closing the door.

Andrew looked at his mother, heartbroken. She looked seriously hurt and didn't know if she would recover or not.

The boy sat next to his mother in the chair beside the hospital bed, and placed his hand on his mothers, tears starting to fall again.

There was a small Television upon the ceiling, for the patients to watch when they are in the room.
Andrew listened to the Tv, not taking his eyes off of his mother.

"Matt Kay Serveas, a prisoner for abusing his wife and child, escaped from the local prison, within two minutes of being in a jail cell." The TV reported.

Andrew turned his head towards the TV, wide eyed, as he could feel his heart sink into the bottom of his chest.
"H-how.." Andrew mumbled to himself.
