"The officers say that Matt had got in his cell along with carrying a gun, therefor shooting a guard, and somehow getting out of the prison cell." The television reports.
Andrew looked panicked and worried, knowing his dad would come back for revenge for calling the cops on him, sending him to jail.
Just then, Andrew felt his mothers hand move to a different position.
He turned around and faced his mother, sighing of relief and smiling. "Mom? Mother can you hear me?" Andrew asked, staring at his wounded mother.
"Andrew? Where am I?" Mary asked, not remembering what happened an hour ago.
"You got in a car crash mother." Andrew said, still holding onto his mothers hand.
The doctor then walked in the room, noticing Mary's presence.
"Mary, you're awake. How are you feeling?" The doctor asked.
"It hurts." Mary said, staring down at her leg, that was cut open from the crash.
"Yes, the scene has affected you greatly. Drink this, this should numb the pain you're feeling on any wounds." The doctor said, handing Mary a glass of water.
Mary drinks the water and hands the glass back to the doctor, lying her head back again.
Andrew sighed, knowing he should still go to school, and got up and stared down at his wounded mother.
"I've gotta get to school, I'll come by and check on you once they dismiss." Andrew said, slowly walking away.
Andrews mother nodded and closed her eyes, drifting off back into a sleep.
-timeskip-
Andrew walked into the school, an hour and thirty minutes late. He walked at a face pace to the office, to check in.
"Andrew Serveas. There was an emergency I had to attend because of my mother in a car crash." Andrew said, looking towards the lady.
"Fair enough. Take this, you should be in your second hour block. Hope your mother gets better." The lady said, handing his late slip to him.
Andrew took the slip and quickly walked to his class.
As Andrew walked in, Liam looked at him, noticing he was late. He had a stern look on his face, mad he was late, again.
Andrew walled up to the teachers desk and handed her the late slip.
The teacher looked as if she felt sorry for Andrew.
She nodded and quietly said to go sit down at hos desk.
Andrew walked over to his desk, right next to Liam, sitting down and getting his math paper out, realizing he didnt do it.
Liam had a stern look on his face, but soon gave in and smiled at him, wondering why he was late.
"Everything okay?" Liam whispered, glancing over at Andrew but keeping focused on the teacher.
"Yeah." Andrew said, looking down at his desk, wanting to leave and go back to the hospital and be with his mother.
Liam saw straight through Andrews lie, but not wanting to force him to tell what was wrong, so he left it alone.
"Please turn in your math paper on my desk and sit back down." The math teacher said.
As Andrew sighed, Liam walked to his desk, putting his hand down on his paper.
"Keep your paper, I'll come over later and help you with it so you'll get a grade instead of a zero." Liam whispered staring into Andrews eyes.
Andrews face went a faint red but nodded and leaned back in his seat.
Liam put his paper on the desk and sat back down, smiling at Andrew.
*Time skip brought to you by my lazynezz.*
The bell rang. Andrew ran to his locker, putting his things away.
He went to the doors. Getting ready to leave, then remembered that Liam was gonna help him with his math paper.
"Hey! You forgetting something? Or someone?" Liam said, jogging up to Andrew.
"Sorry," Andrew chuckled. "I.. had something on my mind." Andrew said, referring to his mother.
"Oh.. Sorry." Liam said, looking down.
"No, It's fine. Let's go." Andrew said, getting in his car waiting for Liam.
