5. - real life

A big shadow loomed out of the shadows and stared right at me. Claudia.

I expected Claudia to attack the man but she did the opposite. She walked across the clearing to the man and calmly sat down, head held high, her yellow eyes glowing in the dark. I stared in horror as I realized the man had strapped a collar onto Claudia. The man whispered to Claudia and Claudia smiled and growled. She pounded toward the small tree. I tried to go some were but there was no were to go. I was trapped. Caludia made her way up the tree in three swift jumps then on the fourth jump she dug her claws into my hind legs. I yowled in pain and felt blood trickling down my foot. I grasped onto the branch but I couldn't hold on and I slipped off, along bark off of the tree. Claudia dragged me down and grabbed me by the scruff of the neck, dragging me to the man. I was to dizzy from hitting my head on the ground that I passed out.

''Zabrina.....Zabrina!" A voice woke me from my slumber. I lifted my head groggely.

"Wha- who's there?" I asked, looking around the dark space. I noticed this wasn't my huge outdoor cage. In horror I rembered what had happened. I was stuck in a small cage that wasn't very comfortable. I looked around in horror as I spotted Silvia, Raja, and Savannah trapped in small cages also. There was also a few other cats like the puma I had watched get shot then there was a Cole the black lion. I realized we must be in the back of the huge van that I had seen come down the road. There was a small window and I could see the brightening sky. It was already dawn and the humans would be at the center soon. The van hit a bump and I hit my head. Irritated I growled under my breath and looked around closer. I could see better now since my eyes had adjusted to the dark.
"Who the hell do these people think they are?" Silvia growled. I had to stifle a laugh on that one.
"Silvia calm down. Can't you just open the cage?" My eyes full of hope. She sighed.
"Sadly no. They have these weird things on them. I looked down to see a squee thing with a upside down u hooked on the latch. Raja loomed anxious and started paving around in his cage. Lucky for him he could at least walk! I couldn't stand, let alone sit up and when I did manage to sit up I had to hunker over.
"Ugh just great!" I growled out loud. Savannah rolled her brown eyes. Dramatically she said:
"Oh Raja what are we going to do!" she sat up and put one paw on her forehead, way overly dramatic. I rolled my eyes back. Drama queen.
"Well what can we do?" I asked wearily.
"Its ok Savannah well figure out a pl-" he realised I had said something and turned back toward me.
"I- I don't know honestly" Raja answered. The van hit a huge bull and my cage went flying up into the air. It got hooked on something on the wall and was at a odd angle. The front of the cage was pointing down while the back of the cage was hanging up. The cage corners badly reached the floor. I sighed and tried to kick the cage door open but it didn't budge. Savannah started laughing that sounded nor like snickering.
"Shut your trap, Savannah!" I hissed at her. She closed her mouth and her expression was blank. I stared into her dark brown eyes challengingly. She backed off but not eith out remarking back to me.
"You know this is all your fault"
"What how is this my fault? For all we know it could be yours!" I growled back. I could tell hot rage boiling up inside of me and when I got out of that cage I swear I would bite Savannahs head off. I took a deal breth and reminded myself this was about getting out, not vengenve on Savannah. Before Savannah could answer back the van lurched forward and came to a faltering stop. We waited a few moments until we heard the backdoor open. A man was standing there, the same one who shot Boomer. He looked around then grabbed Boomer first. The puma squealed like a little cub and cried for help. I felt deep sympathy for him and I fought back tears that threatened to roll down my cheeks. Next Savannah was taken then Silvia, Raja, Cole, then one of the men jumped into the van and unhooked me. I curled up in a tight ball and looked around. The sun was fully up now and we had stopped in a field of some sort. The men turned to a huge red wood building. It had massive doors which were open.

When I got carried inside I spotted Savvanah cowering with fear. All of us were scared but probably her the most. I wondered why though. I was sat down by Savannah.
"What is this place?" I talked out loud to myself looking around. There was little to no light and there was a floor of the building with straw strayed every were. Then I heard a faint whisper from Savvanah.
"The fighting ring"

Umm sorry guys worst time to run out of internet but I won't be able to publish any more tomorrow because I run out of net but I'll get more some time so I might be off a long time!! Don't hate me but ya know I can go to McDonalds and get Wi-Fi XD
