As the day went by me and Nathan were texting the whole time, finally getting into lunch. I walked through the cafe and saw that it didn't look too appetizing. I decided to skip lunch and walk around. I sighed maybe this day wasn't gonna be so easy after all. My phone started ringing and I looked down and it was Nathan.
*On The Phone*
" Hey Princesa" Nathan said and I smiled. " Hey Nate" I said " Well sounds like someone is in a very shitty mood" He said and I laughed. " Tbh yea kinda I don't have any friends everyone seems to not give a fuck" I whined and he chuckled. " Well just know that you can do this come on being shy doesn't seem so good on Princesa." I smiled " Well fine i'll try harder and what are you doing aren't you in class?" I asked " Nah right now it's Lunch" He said.
We talked a little longer and hung up. Well it looks like i'm off to walking around again. I walked further and ended up at the football field. I looked around and no one was there. I put down my bag and started to stretch. I got ready and just started tumbling. It felt really great to do this again. I smiled as I twirled and done a few stunts. " PRINCESA" I heard someone yelled as I was in a handstand.
I stopped and turned to see Ms.Brooks. " Oh i'm sorry I just thought I could burn some time off of lunch" I nervously chuckled. She smiled " Princesa i'm not here to scold you, I was thinking maybe you could join cheer leading, you can even be team captain since the other one dropped" She suggested " Okay deal, but on one condition, if I join the squad, I call the shots" I said and she nodded. " I trust that you can do this on your own, besides I know what you can bring to the table since we first met" She smirked and walked away " Great to have you on the team Princesa" and with that she was gone. I smiled. Omg did I just get captain.
As the day went by, I couldn't stop smiling. Once the bell rang, I was out of class and headed to my car. I called Nathan. " Hey Nathan wanna hang?" I asked once he picked up the phone. " Sure ice cream or movies?" He asked and I smiled. " Why not both" He chuckled " Fine can you pick me up my car is in the shop and my dad had to drop me off" He said " That's fine, where do you want me to pick you up" I asked He gave me the directions to his school and I stopped in front of him. He looked at the tinted window like wtf. OML, I rolled down the window and smiled. " Are you coming or what" I said and he looked at me " What?" I asked confused.
' I thought you had that beat up old black car in the parking lot" He said as he came and sat in. " Psh no that car was parked besides mines" I chuckled. " Well do you wanna watch girls trip or IT?" He asked and I smiled "GIRLS TRIP" I shouted and he laughed. Why do I feel like imma regret this?" He said. " Don't worry stud I got chu" I winked and laughed as I drove off.
