Perrie's POV

When I got back to the flat, I walked in and went straight to Zayn and mine's bedroom and sat down on our bed. I walked passed Zayn, ignoring his greeting smile. I didn't mean to do it, I was just so deep in thought. Alexa was doing something to my life. Seeing her bright smile whenever she talked, hearing her giggle when I talked to her, seeing her blue eyes grow big when she saw me, was doing something to me. I knew visiting her was making her extremely happy, but was that enough?

"Hi Per." Zayn said, peeking his head into the room.

"Oh, hi Zayn. I'm sorry. I have a lot on my mind." I said, not looking up at him. Zayn walked into the room and sat down beside me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and kissed my temple.

"What's got you thinking so much?" He asked me.

"I don't understand, Zayn. I've met so many little girls in my career, but why does Alexa stand out so much?" I asked, looking for an answer. "She's a six year old I met yesterday that I can't get out of my head." I said.

"Maybe its guilt you're feeling. Do you think visiting her again will help you?" Zayn asked me, as he gently rubbed my back.

"I feel like that's not enough. That poor girl is stuck in the hospital for Christmas." I said. It was silent for a moment. Until Zayn spoke up again.

"Well I have an idea." He started. "I know you feel bad that she'll be in the hospital, without a family for Christmas, so maybe for the two weeks we have left till Christmas up until New Years Day, we let her come stay with us. I know we would have to take care of some things before they'll let her stay, but I think it would be worth it. We'll be able to give this girl a good few weeks out of the hospital." Zayn said. I thought about what he said and he's a genius. Feeling the guilt of Alexa not having a family is what was making think about her.

I kissed Zayn's cheek and smiled. "I think she'll love that. I'll have to talk to the hospital but I'm sure they won't have a problem with it." I told him. I was so excited. I couldn't wait to have a little kid in the flat for Christmas.

~Next Day~

The next day Zayn and I both went to the hospital and presented our idea to them. After a whole days worth of meetings, they finally agreed to let Alexa come stay with us until New Year only if Alexa wanted to. I took Zayn to Alexa's room so I could introduce them and also see if she would like to stay with us for Christmas.

"Perrie!" Alexa exclaimed, as Zayn and I walked into her room.

"Hi Alexa." I said. bending down to give her a hug. "Alexa, this is my boyfriend Zayn. He wanted to come and meet you." I said, kneeling on my knees. Zayn squatted down next to me and smiled.

"Hi Alexa. It's very nice to meet you." Zayn said, with a big smile on his face. Zayn was always so good with children.

"Hi." She said, shyly.

"So Alexa, we were wondering, is it fun staying here?" I asked her, leading her up to my question.

She shook her head no and Zayn and I smiled at each other.

"Would you like to get out of here?" Zayn asked her.

She nodded her head yes and she smiled big.

"Alexa, we know you don't like staying here so that's why we were wondering if you would like to come stay with us for 3 weeks. Would you like that?" I asked her. I was so nervous. I really wanted her to come stay with us.

"Yes." She said, smiling. I smiled at her and gave her a hug.

"You'll have so much staying with us." I said, with her still in my arms. "Our flat is all decorated for Christmas and we have a room for you. We also have a dog named Hatchi and a cat name Prada. They'll absolutely love you." I said. Alexa seemed very happy.

Zayn and I quickly packed some of Alexa's things and soon left the hospital. Something about bringing Alexa home felt right. The guilt I felt yesterday, was gone. I knew that the up coming 3 weeks was going to be a good 3 weeks.
