Justin stepped up the large doors of his in-laws,
or his future in laws.
He knocked on it lightly,
for he did not want to go inside so soon.
"They'll like me," Justin spoke,
talking to himself once more.
"What could go wrong?" He questioned, no one could answer.
"I know they'll like me,
everyone has always liked me!"
Justin pepped himself up.
Suddenly, he heard a shout from the inside.
His eyes widen,
he gripped onto his fur coat.
Justin knocked again,
finally ready to go inside.
Ready for face whatever startled him.
The door swung open,
scaring the life out of Justin.
He held onto his heart,
as the servant examined him.
"I'm Count Justin Drew Bieber,
Prince Andrey Bolkonsky's betrothed."
The servant nodded,
making room for Justin to walk through.
"The Bolkonskys have been expecting you."
Justin smiled,
thinking it was already a good start.
He followed the servant to the living room.
There, he saw a young, effected girl.
A frown was plastered on her face.
It worried him,
biting his lip,
he kept his head up.
"May I present the Count, Justin Drew Bieber." The servant spoke in a strong, loud voice.
The girl looked like a deer in headlights,
a small, affected smile appeared in her face.
"Oh, hello...
Won't you come in?" She motioned Justin's eyes to a door.
He realized that the girl was Princess Mary Bolkonsky.
Justin followed the sister,
"Hello!" He had a big smile on his face,
he even kissed her hand.
No one knew if it was wrong or not,
males kissed females hands.
Sissy boys counted.
The living room happened to be a doorway into the actual house.
Justin felt like he must act the most polite and respectful during his visit.
For Andrey's father was a war hero,
and sister...
His sister was the way for acceptance in his family.
There was one thing Mary noticed as the future in laws walked into the house.
She did not like Justin.
From at first glance,
Mary Bolkonsky did not like the Count.
The Count was too fashionably dressed,
frivolous and vain,
his beauty,
youth,
and happiness.
Mary tried to see past the things she did not like about the Count.
For he was her elder brother's betrothed.
She knew she must make her brother pleased,
who knew what Justin would tell.
Justin did not know too much about Mary,
or any of Andrey's family in fact.
Prince Bolkonsky, his father,
was sick.
With what?
No one knew quite well.
Justin also knew that Mary was unmarried,
though her older sister was.
He felt pity for her,
she was trapped alone taking care of her father.
"I thank you for visiting today.
My brother's love for you is indescribable, dear Justin."
Mary spoke,
almost hesitating.
Justin smiled genuinely,
Mary must be right.
"And my father's-"
"I do not wish to see him!"
Both Mary and Justin jumped, clutching their hearts.
Justin's smile quickly turned into a frown.
Mary's mouth dropped,
but quickly shut it.
She tried to move on.
Mary became worried,
worried over her father's outbursts.
For they were uncontrollable.
That's what was considered his illness.
He forgot things,
he was mean and cruel,
he was uncontrollable.
Every year it became worse.
Mary worried her father might indulge in some freak.
Justin looked at the way where the shout came from,
"I'm sorry, forgive me Princess, the Prince is still ailing?" He asked,
keeping his head up.
Mary nodded slowly.
Justin bit his lip,
he was not afraid of anyone.
Ever since he was a child,
he was never afraid.
But such hesitation,
such unnatural matters,
it frightened the Count.
He had never seen it before in his 19 years of life.
