we were currently in the interrogation room, and i was getting no where with Mylene. the dark grey room designed to intimidate the suspect wasn't"t working, only boring all of us out. "listen up, the day is going by fast, a- you know what? here's a deal, if you admit your the killer we'll give you ten-thousand dollars when you get out of jail." i said, now desperately looking at the clock. Just about noon. Mylene's eyes widened slightly and her head perked up. "how many kills did the killer make?" she asked, her eyes now narrowing. "6" i answered, now having some hope. what i was doing was wrong, giving her money to admit herself, but if she agreed, i would be able to tell if she was lying or not. from the facial features. and i would never give ten-thousand. if they weren't that bad, maybe a hundred or two. getting the right person in jail was what i was focused on. "No" she answered, relaxing again." we all groaned, knowing this was going to take longer than we thought. "six people is worth a lifetime in prison. i wont come back out for that money." she said, as if i was stupid.
i felt a weight on my shoulder and flinched. i mentally face palmed, why would i flinch? it was ulises. "Um, can i try?" he whispered. "You?!" i asked, in complete shock. "Um, yes" he replied. i pu my hands up as if i was getting arrested and scooted off the seat, "whatever you say" he sat down and the whole room was in an uncomfortable silence for a couple of seconds.
"OK lets get this over with" ulises said, suddenly having a booming voice. it startled me fo a second, and i flinched again. Ulises pulled a machine gun out of his jeans pocket and placed it lightly in the table. What the? how the? Ugh! "From what i remember,' ulises continued, "Chelsea was offered to watch T.V. by you, and she was instructed to press the smallest button in the farthest corner by you. and as soon as she pushed it, the place blew into flames." his hand inched closer to the gun, in an attempt to intimidate her.
"that sounds quite suspicious doesn't it?" he said, now leaning back in the seat with a smirk. we were all speechless. "And it couldn't possibly be a coincidence" Ulises finished, looking overly cocky right now. Mylene stood there in a daze for a second, before mumbling something under her breath. "What was that?" i asked, a grin slowly appearing on my face as i leaned in. she mumbled again a little louder but i still couldn't hear. "What was that?"
"JY!" she yelled. "JKLMSTVSAMPOLFHUGHIIEIIJVJDJDIGHJFCJDDJ" "What the!" i said stumbling away. "All I'm telling you is i don't know what happened." She said suddenly snapping back to normal. i cant even explain the kind of weird thing happening. She was singing the alphabet wrong for God's sake! "OH come on!" D blurted."your dragging this out!"
Mylene just sat back in her chair and pushed her bottom lip into a careless pout. "Well ill see you guys in court, i have to go teach my track team in ten minutes." HA! she thinks she's being released after this. well think again Mylene, tell your track team they have a substitute.
ulises looked all sad and i patted his back. "You tried, you tried" i said, shaking my head.

"I could tell she's lying" Diana said and we all agreed. "It was so obvious!"
A week had passed and thankfully Akeem wasn't killed although he spend six more days in the hospital. they treated him first, hurrying to get him out of the hospital as soon as possible. Now i wonder why they would do that? note the sarcasm.
We were driving him to a local therapist. "Do they have food there?" he whined, sitting in the backseat. Diana was driving and i called shotgun before Akeem could say the O. i was staring out the window, as the treets came and left, and the trees whizzed by. it took a while before we finally approached the glass skyscraper. i opened my door and stepped out, and the three of us stepped inside. this was the most high-tech building other than the FBI in America. there were floating white pods, going around and handing out business cards. the carpet was white, everything was white accept for the rich green plants, the light-blue tinted windows,... and the receptionist. Didi was going to step forward when i stopped her.
"Its my turn" i said glaring. though i wasn't in the mood shove badges in faces ight now. i walked up to her and placed my hands lightly on the perfectly white counter separating us. i would like to see Dr. Jennings please" i politely smiled at her. "He retired." she said taking me by surprise,"Ms.Gabby took his place" "Oh" i said. "If you still want to try she's on floor nine foom seven." she said, checking her papers.
"Thanks" diana said before we walked to the elevator. we got to the room, and i prepared myself to open the door. i wasnt good with meeting new girls. only guys because i knew i could kick their butts if they did anything. I grabbed the handle and twisted to see that i wasnt interrupting anything.Thank goodness! she looked up and asked "Oh! did you have an appointment?" she slid towards he desk and started searching though a folder. "No sorry, but we could make one if your busy" i said.
"No im not busy." she said spinning around in her office chair. that's when i took in her appearance. she had brownish blonde hair that looked like it wasn't brushed in years. it was all over the place! she constantly scratched at different places and i got a bad feeling. she welcomed akeem to the seat.
"Whats your problem?" she asked. "Well..."akeem trailed, putting a fist to his chin in dramatic thought. " just got out of the hospital and im hungry " akeem replied, sitting up now. a look of horror crossed her face and she stood up.
"How could they not serrve you!!! thats no way to treat a patient!!" she started jumping up and down and pulling her hair. she pulled akeem up off the chair and started rowling him up. "YOU BETTER GO BACK THERE AND SHOW THEM WHOS BOSS!! UGH!! WHAT SNOBS!! THATS SO SELFISH AND GREEDY!!! I HAVE TO GO TO MY LAB NOW SEE YOU TOMORROW!!" SHE YELLED BEFORE STOMING OFF.
diana and i were stunned, confused, and most of all scared. "A crazy phycologist," Didi mumured in dispelief and i silently agreed. this week was one of the craziest days ever. machine guns being pulled out of pockets, explosions, killers, shopping carts, tags, hobos. it was to much for me.
so i fainted.
