Chapter Four

The next morning was as usual, an occurrence of chaos in the Red Light Pack. The morning people were seated in the dining table while Taylor and Piper tried to drag a sleepy Zerah off the bed.

"You have School today!" Piper huffed, trying to drag her.

"School can kiss my ass.." Zerah murmured, tossing to the other side of the bed.

"I'll go call Jason..." Taylor whispered to an exhausted Piper. Waking up Zerah was a vigorous job.

Jason entered the room with a look of annoyance,"Zee, I swear to god if you don't wake up now.."

Zerah shoot up from the bed so fast, her head hit the headboard while her legs got tangled in the sheets.

"I woke up..I woke up.." Zerah muttered, rubbing the spot where she got hit. Jason shrugged before going downstairs. Taylor and Piper just smirked at the younger one.

The dining room was filled as she reached there, the two alpha's were deep in thoughts, Piper and Taylor were eating breakfast while Lauren tried to feed Ethan. Tried being the key word.

She took a seat next to Lauren,"Can't you feed him something which can be categorized as food?"

Ethan, who agreed with his aunt,nodded his head vigorously.

"This is what we call healthy food Zee.." Lauren stated. Zerah high fived Ethan when he shook his head.

"You are wearing that to School?.. Nuh-uh..Go change.." Jason's overprotective voice caused Zerah to roll her eyes. She was wearing an oversized hoodie and shorts which could not be seen due to the size of the hoodie. This was her 'don't-come-to-me-i-will-kill-you' outfit.

"Blah Blah.." She stuck her tongue out and ran towards Chase, who was waiting for her to drop her to school.

After Zerah left, the Alpha dispersed everyone to their own jobs. One person stood there, thinking about what happened the last time she was working. She had never expected to meet her mate under such circumstances.

The clinic of the Red Light pack was reeking of blood. It was exceptionally crowded with people from the Silver Ax pack. The flames did a very bad damage to the elders who were late to get out of the mansion.

Piper was taking notes of the injury when a scent interrupted her. It was calming and soothing. The scent was hard to explain, it was like a bunch of flowers tied together.

She closed her eyes, trying to savour the delicious scent. She knew what it meant and she was scared to know who it was. As soon as she opened her eyes, it landed to unfamiliar green orbs.

One look and she knew he was perfect. His brunette hair was slightly messed up. His lips were set in a small smile while his eyes showed disbelief. He was dressed in khakis, which emphasized his long and muscular leg and a navy blue shirt, which stretched across his athletic chest, making him look like some sort of model.

Before she could even blink, she was pulled into his embrace. He nuzzled his face in to the crook of her neck while his hands circled around her waist. Her frozen hands automatically wrapped around his neck, seeking his warmth.

"Mine." He growled low, causing her to shiver slightly.

After a full warm minute, he pulled away. Staring at her honey brown eyes. 'Beautiful' was the word he defined her with, her brown eyes leaving an impact on his mind.

"What's your name sweetheart?" He asked, excited like a little boy.

"Piper." She replied with a goofy smile.
