"I am not a wolf in sheep's clothing,

                                                                I am a wolf in wolf's clothing."

The mountain forest shrouded in darkness, yellow flames flickered and danced while devouring the mountain trees and various parts of the Silver Axe pack territory. The ravenous flames engulfed everything leaving only the crackling sound of burnt wood.

A man stood in the middle of the pack office, his cold glare fixed on the pack warriors in front of him.

"What is going on? Who is responsible for this havoc?" The Alpha spoke, a voice as thick as honey and deep as the Mariana trench. But what made his position prominent as the Alpha, was the burning grey eyes. It was grey as the color of the clouds in the storm. It was beautiful and breathtaking to look at but now, it was swirling with anger and coldness that no one even dared to meet his eye.

Messed up black hair with deep wine colored streaks, strong slanted brows, following a tall and sharp nose bridge. His thin red lips formed a straight and hardline as if he was contemplating, but his clenched jaw tells the same story as his eyes-Aggression. His broad shoulders were tensed and his tall frame was intimidating to others. The quiet composure was not able to convey the fiery phoenix-like aura of his eyes.

Fear was etched in every pack warrior's mind. They knew that the calmer their alpha looks, the more agitated he was. The gamma of the pack visibly gulped knowing they would be the ones to bear the brunt of today's ambush.

A timid knock was heard on the door, breaking the heavy silence of the room. The door opened to reveal the beta, a man with brunette hair and light brows with deeply penetrating green orbs, a high nose bridge with a chiseled jaw. His broad shoulders and athletic figure clarified his strength and capability.

"Alpha, the rogues are not yielding and telling us about their employers. Moreover, your presence is required in the dungeons as the delta wouldn't be able to hold them down for long." The Beta's urgent voice reasoned.

"How many casualties ?"

"I am afraid our zetas and epsilons have suffered the most damage followed by the kappas and lambdas. The phi(s) and psi(s) have been terrified badly."

The Alpha, Zach Warner Williamson, looks at the beta, gamma, and the remaining pack warriors. With a steely guarded expression, the alpha inquires about the most dreadful question.

"Any Deaths?"

"The Theta-James, and Tau-Sam, the leader of the second scout team." The Beta-Austin begrudgingly answers, knowing how much James and Sam meant to the Alpha.

James was the Alpha's favorite uncle and Sam was the son of his father's benefactor.

Zach's grey orbs hardened and his fist clenched hearing his dear ones name. He closed his eyes and controlled himself. In a flash, he was heading towards the dungeons.

The Beta watched Zach, well knowing his actions. He could only cry for the rogues in his heart.

A flashy red car stopped on the car porch of the three-storeyed villa next to the pack house. Two girls got out of the car and headed towards the door. Opening the door, they headed towards the kitchen only to find both of their friends missing.

"Zerah? Lauren?" one of the girls called out. She had a curvaceous and petite build with auburn wavy hair. Her fair skin and oval face, curved dark eyebrows, a delicate nose, captivating rosy lips and a pair of beautiful and mesmerizing eyes.

"Taylor? Oh, you came back!!" Screamed another girl running down the stairs, eating a three-day-old Doritos packet.

"Zerah can you stop screaming please," Taylor groaned watching her friend scream like a banshee.

"Where's Lauren?" The second girl asked.

"Oh hey, Pipes! Didn't see ya there." The said girl had a round face, a pair of cherry lips and the most beautiful pair of honey brown colored eye. Her brunette hair was tied in a messy bun. She had a very muscular figure with skin in right places.

"Where is Lauren?" Piper repeated the question.

"I don't know," Zerah replied before pausing as if she remembered something. "Oh, wait! Lauren had called me, she wanted us to go meet her for some reason. She said it was pretty important."

"Okay. Let's go," Piper said.

With that being said, the three of them headed towards the pack house. The pack house was large, five-storeyed mansion located below the Northern side of the Forest. The backyard of the mansion was used solely for the purpose of training. The front yard had a very beautiful garden with a very large pool. The Mansion was absolutely gorgeous, especially in the darkness.

The Southern part which is the mountainous forest, was occupied by the Silver Axe pack, and the Red Light pack occupied the Northern and dense part. The Silver Axe and Red Light packs belonged to two best friends, where one is known for his temper and strength while the other for his gentle personality and smart wit. Together these two packs were unbeatable.

The Alpha of the Red Light pack, Jason Paul Hamilton, was tall, with fair skin, sharp brows and hazel brown eyes coupled with light red lips. His sturdy body and majestic aura suggested his strength. His chiseled features were very profound and he carried himself just like those dominating Alpha men.

The Luna of the Pack, Lauren, was just as beautiful. She was tall enough to complement his height, a pair of phoenix-like graceful eyes, a nose just as sharp, vine-like alluring lips. A slender waistline and long legs coupled with the kind of clothing she wears, it is as if she's a forbidden fruit.

They enter the pack house and Zerah runs towards the luna while screaming 'babe', the pack members chuckling, seeming used to this craziness.

"Yo Alpha boy, how's life?" Zerah asked while flopping onto the couch beside him.

"I was very fine until you came along," He replied, feigning annoyance but had a small smile on his face.

"Ouch," Zerah exclaimed.

"Zerah stop being a baby." Taylor teased as Piper, the only one mature shook her head at Zerah and Taylor.

-_-_-_-_-

The dungeons of the Silver ax pack reeked of blood and death. It was dim, only candles to provide some light inside. There were prison cells for every rogue who liked to pass the territory.

The sound of shoes clicking on the tiled and dirty floor could be heard. Zach took long strides and headed towards the cell where the rogues were confined. The Delta looked tired and one could see that he was bruised and had suffered some injuries.

The delta-Chase immediately got up to greet the Alpha. Zach had dismissed Chase with a wave of his hand after seeing the big bad delta injured to such an extent that he was looking like a kicked puppy.

"You can go and get yourself treated." Zach had told Chase before he allowed Chase to leave the dungeons.

"Why are you in my territory?" Zach sneered making the rogues cringe. There were two of them and their faces were not recognizable as it was smeared with blood and sweat.

"Because we felt like it," One of the rogues replied. Angered by his answer, Alpha Zach closed his eyes trying to calm himself because he knew that if he lost control, he would kill them.

"I will ask you once more." He closed his eyes to regain his composure and took a deep breath, "Why are you in my territory?"

Only silence followed as the rogues were hell-bent on being loyal to their attackers.

"Fine. It's a pity that you guys are rogues otherwise with this kind of loyalty you would have been able to reach great heights. But it's after all bad luck that you guys will lose your lives," Zach said evident pity flashing through his handsome face.

"Austin, make sure they meet the king of hell or just inject them with wolfsbane," Zach smirked and left.
