Jeongyeon's wish is finally about to come true when she is assigned to be the prosecutor of Im Nayeon's case. But can she really be held responsible for locking her up, when she's 95% sure her ex girlfriend didn't do it?

"Jeongyeon" Nayeon had called as soon as she saw the tall blonde girl enter the room. The two officers immediately sat her back down, with a harsh push to her shoulders. Jeongyeon hadn't seemed to pay any attention to Nayeon as she dismissed the two guards and sat down in the chair in front of her with an indifferent look plastered on her face.

"If you confess now I'm sure your punishment will be a lot less harsh". Jeongyeon spoke after staring at the girl in front of her for what seemed like minutes. In reality Jeongyeon's mind had been going haywire ever since she saw her ex girlfriend.

How could my Ex possibly be a murderer? She's meet my parents, God my sister was right I do have bad taste.

Such things we're what Jeongyeon was thinking about but she knew she should try her best to keep this professional. But how could she when nayeon looked at Jeongyeon like she needed her to be her hero again.

"Jeongyeon, I" Nayeon had started but didn't get the opportunity to finish because the blond had cut her off quickly replying with "call me prosecutor Yoo now, we should do our best to keep this a professional relationship". To which Nayeon had scoffed before proceeding to say what she had begun to say "I didn't do it Jeongyeon"

Jeongyeon didn't know what kind of games the older women wanted to play with her but she knew she wouldn't fall victim to them. So she decided to ignore the women continuing to call her by her name. "Well then defendant Im Nayeon- Shi, do you have an alibi?".

"No" Nayeon was looking down now, no longer deadpanning at Jeongyeon's request of professionalism and Jeongyeon wanted to smirk, she wanted to show Nayeon that there was no way she'd lose to another game hosted by Im Nayeon but seeing a sad Nayeon still broke her heart. It broke more when she heard how strangled the "no" actually was.

"Professionalism remember?" Jeongyeon had thought, when she almost reached over to pick Nayeon's head up.

"You have no alibi and yet you plead innocent" Jeongyeon had stated after another few minutes of quiet staring. The Nayeon she had know hadn't been one for silence, the Nayeon she had known hadn't been one to cry while others were around but here she was crying silently as Jeongyeon watched, but then again maybe she didn't know Nayeon all to well because she didn't think she knew a Nayeon that lied and cheated either but Nayeon did that too.

So maybe Jeongyeon was being foolish for thinking the Nayeon she had known wouldn't be accused of murder either, and the thought of not knowing Nayeon suddenly infuriated her. So much to where she knew she couldn't keep up with the professionalism act for too much longer. She needed a quick escape.

"Until next time Nayeon-Shi" Jeongyeon had spoken before swiftly walking back through the door, Nayeon had to admit she had expected more although she didn't know what she expected more of. Did she expect Jeongyeon to reach over and help her dry her tears? Or did she expect Jeongyeon's venomous words? She wasn't sure, but she was sure that Jeongyeon had heard her words before she left.

"But Jeongyeon-Ah I really didn't do it"
