*BETHS POV*

The next day, i had a doctors appointment because i took a blood test and they wanted me to come in & once they told me that, i got nervous. What if it was bad? I couldnt risk it. But i had no choice. I chose not to tell Cameron because i knew he would freak out. And i dont want that. I got in the car and started the car. I was about to go when someone was at my window! I was surprised to see Jake at the window, I didn't understand why he would come, but I had a little theory. I rolled down the window just a bit, in case.

"Beth, I don't know why I would hurt Cameron, all I would do is hurt you. So I wouldn't do that. Honestly, I think that we would be together and I would treat you right, please." I knew that he wanted me back, but I don't love him, I love Cam.

"This isn't a good time Jake." I said trying to make it obvious that I had to leave.

*CAMERONS POV*

I was walking around the neighbourhood when I saw Jake at Beth's driveway! That's weird. Beth was in the car and they were yelling at each other! Surprisingly, I heard my name. I ran over,

"Jake, leave Beth alone." I said

"No! I want her in my life, I watch how you treat her, you treat her like crap!" He said

"You know what? At least I have her in my life and you don't." I said

I turned to Beth, her lips said, "thank you." I silently said "your welcome"

I turned back to Jake.

"You better get your ass out of here!" I screamed, as I said it, Jake flinched then ran away. I felt proud, but more importantly I had Beth. Beth got out of the car and jumped on me, and filled my face with kisses.

"Thank you Cameron for helping me, well, I better be on my way!" She said. Wait, where was she going?

"Um don't mind me asking but where are you going?" I asked politely. She hesitated.

"Just to the grocery store to pick up a few things." She said

"Oh okay, I'll see you tonight?" I asked.

"Yup!" She said, then kissed me cheek, "bye!"

I turned around as the car drove away, I knew she wasn't going to the grocery store. I can't follower her because I don't have a car! But I have my licence. I called her cell, the phone was ringing, then she answered,

"Hello?"

"Hi Beth. Where are you actually going? Because you hesitated before you answered my question before,"

"Uh yeah. About that, you see, I took a blood test yesterday and I have to go to the doctors for my results! I thought it would be better if you stayed here." Then the phone line cut. I hung up the phone and set it in my back pocket. My mouth dropped but not a lot. What if it was something bad?! I started to get nervous. I had to know what was wrong with her.
