"Truthfully today I wanted to confess my love to you."

Minjae opened her mouth but closed it a second afterward again. Woojin bit his bottom lip watching the girl look from side to side. Was he too early with his confession? But he was hiding these feelings for almost half a year now. Soon the class would have to take the KSAT's and then time would fly by and it was goodbye Highschool and Hello University.

Woojin felt dizzy. Thinking about his future like this made him almost sick. He looked up and caught Minjae staring at him. Her blue contacts were boring into his soul and he couldn't concentrate anymore. Well, at least even less than before.

"C-Could you repeat what you just said?" Minjae said, blowing her cheeks up. Her eyes were as wide as deer eyes and she had a slight tint on her cheeks. Could she have possibly misheard him? She licked the last bits of Cherry lip balm of her lips waiting for Woojin to say something.

"I didn't plan on having a fight with you, Minjae. I actually wanted to confess my love to you." Woojin repeated. "But you came straight to the topic with being angry and" - "Nevermind. I have already forgiven you on the way to your house." Minjae confessed and wiped a streak of hair behind her ear. "I know it wasn't your decision to become a part of the Drama Club. You were forced, it's different." Minjae looked down. She thought about her next words a lot. "Are you serious?" She then asked and looked up. Woojin tilted his head. "With my confession?" He asked and Minjae slowly nodded. "Of course I was. Why would I lie to you about something like this? I liked you for a pretty long time actually. You tried to befriend me even when I was a dick to you." Woojin said and scratched his nape.

Minjae looked at Woojin, bit her lip and then shooted him two finger hearts before rushing past him upstairs and into his room. "Was that her answer?" The now eighteen-year-old boy asked himself before chuckling and rushing upstairs as well.

"What took you so long?" Jinyoung groaned, looking bored. "We had some things to talk," Minjae said and then looked at Hyeongseop who was sitting at Woojin's desk. "Hyeongseop-ah?" Minjae asked and walked over to him. "I'm sorry that Choa put you in such an uncomfortable situation. She shouldn't have done that." Minjae said and patted Hyeongseops shoulder. "I was never really that mad at you, okay?" Minjae asked and pulled Hyeongseop in a warm hug.

Jihoon and Jinyoung exchanged a glance and smiled. "At least everything is fine now," Jihoon spoke and then the door of Woojin's room opened to the birthday boy holding two bottles of ... beer. "Let's get the party started, okay?!" Woojin yelled and the boys hollered while Minjae facepalmed herself.

-

Two hours later Hyeongseop was knocked out on the bed after taking two sips of beer. Jinyoung was sitting on Woojin's bed crying because there were no more Wieners and Woojin had an intense rap battle with Jihoon at the Karaoke machine. Minjae sat cross-legged next to Hyeongseop bobbing her head to the music and enjoying a few jellies.

She was the only one who didn't want to try the beer. She had politely declined and the boys had no problem with that. While she was listening to the music and the boys yelling from the Karaoke machine she could feel her phone vibrate. She pulled it out of her pocket and saw that it was Choa who was calling her. With a sigh she stood up and left the room, walking downstairs where it was quieter.

"Choa?" Minjae asked after picking up the call. "Phew, I am glad you answered my call," Choa spoke and Minjae nodded. She was still a little bit salty about the way her so-called best friend had acted. "Why did you call? I am at a birthday party." Minjae stated and waited for Choa to say something. "I wanted to apologize. I wasn't behaving like a best friend should behave. I was selfish and wanted you to myself. I was jealous that you could befriend Woojin so fast and I thought you would forget about me because you were hanging out with him." Choa confessed. "I'm sorry how I tried to pull you into the Drama Club as my assistant when it was your biggest dream to act on a stage yourself."

Choa took a break and Minjae waited patiently. "I'm just sorry for being such a bad best friend. I shouldn't have told you about Woojin and I shouldn't have dragged Hyeongseop into this. He is probably devastated." She sighed. "He sure was devastated and super sad." Minjae started. "But it's okay now. Woojin and I talked about it and I told Hyeongseop that I wasn't mad at him and I apologized to him in your name." She continued.

"You should know that even if I have other friends beside you, you will always be my best friend Choa. Remember what we promised us in Elementary school?" Minjae asked and Choa bit her lip. "Even if SNSD disbands we will stay together?" Choa asks and Minjae laughed. "No, not the girl group oath. Remember how I defended you from the bullying of Kim Jookyung?" Minjae asked sitting down at the bottom of the stairs. "Mhm." Choa hummed.

"We promised that will be sisters forever," Minjae said. "And no matter what happens to us you will always be my best friend," Minjae announced and Choa nodded. "Thank you for accepting my apology." Choa sighed. "I'm not disturbing you and Woojin anymore." Choa then chuckled. "I hope you have a nice night. You surely have to tell me everything tomorrow!" Choa laughed and then hung up.

Minjae stared at her phone for another second before licking her lips. Life surely was going in the right direction. "Minjae!" The girl looked up and saw Woojin at the top of the stairs smiling his gummy smile at her. "I'm coming!" Minjae called and ran up the stairs, grabbing Woojin's hand and dragging him into his bedroom.

"Let's celebrate your special day, Birthday boy!" Minjae laughed and smeared some of the cake into Woojin's face.
