"It's been five years, Woojin. You're an adult now. I don't think anyone would say something against this." Minjae whispered, wiping her hair out of her face and fixing the belt of her trench coat. "I know, I know. But I am still super nervous. We haven't spoken in five years and now I am here to invite her to our wedding?" Woojin looked at his fiancé who smiled brightly at him.

"I'm with you, Woojin. Let's meet her now." Minjae stroked Woojin's hand and they entered the little coffee shop. A bell rang once they entered and Woojin looked around until he found the face he was looking for.

The woman, who immediately recognized him stood up. Her face was hollow but her eyes were sparkling like the eyes of a young girl. Woojin and Minjae walked over to her and Woojin immediately embraced the woman in a warm hug. "Eomma." He whispered and rubbed the small woman's back.

"You've grown so much." Mrs. Park whispered and sat down. Minjae and Woojin sat down as well. "I am so sorry." Mrs. Park then said. "I should've cared for you better. If I wouldn't have been such a horrible mother I could have watched you finish Highschool and starting college. But I messed up big time." She sighed. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Mum. Seriously. I'm not mad at you anymore." Woojin said and took his Mothers hand. "I am really glad you accepted to meet me after all that happened back then." Woojin smiled and Mrs. Park chuckled before looking at Minjae for the first time.

"Aren't you the same girl that was with Woojin the day he moved out?" She asked and Minjae chuckled. "Yes, that was me." She smiled and Mrs. Park looked at Minjae with eagle eyes. "You grew up really beautiful." She said before her eyes stopped at Minjae's right hand.

"Oh, what's that?" Mrs. Park asked and softly grabbed Minjae's hand. "A sparkler!" She squealed out and looked at Woojin. "Son, is this, what I think it is?" She asked and Woojin blushed. "We're going to marry, Mum. And Minjae and I decided that we want you there. At the wedding." Woojin said and Mrs. Park looked at her son first and then looked at Minjae.

"I am very happy that Woojin has you." Mrs. Park said. "And I would love to come to your wedding. Of course, I wouldn't miss the day my only son is going to marry!" The woman seemed ecstatic. "Thank you for inviting me." She said after Minjae handed her the envelope with the invitation.

Woojin had left the bathroom a few minutes ago and Mrs. Park took the chance to grab Minjae's hands once again. "I already guessed it when I saw the two of you coming in." She started and Minjae tilted her head, wondering what her Mother-in-law had to say. "But you're hiding a secret under your heart, right?" She asked and Minjae opened her mouth and gasped.

"How did you know?" She whispered. "I only found out recently! And I haven't told Woojin." Mrs. Park smiled. "I could tell from your gaze." The mother smiled. "It's the gaze of a soon mother-to-be." Mrs. Park chuckled. "Not even my Mum noticed that."

"I'm not sure if Woojin ever said it but I am a midwife." She chuckled and let go of Minjae's hands once Woojin was back. "What were the two of your talking about?" Woojin asked taking his fiancé's hand. "Nothing particular." Mrs. Park smiled at Minjae who chuckled with a glance at her stomach.

The couple spends the rest of their evening with Woojin's mother before they departed and either went on their own way. Woojinw as happily holding Minjae's hand strolling through the warm night. "I'm happy," Woojin said. "She seemed much more relaxed than before and she seemed to genuinely like you." Woojin turned to Minjae and kissed her cheek.

"I seriously can't wait to marry you." Woojin laughed and ruffled Minjae's hair. "Me neither," Minjae mumbled looking into the distance. "What is it?" Woojin asked. "I can't believe I am marrying you." Minjae suddenly exclaimed. "You were so dumb back in school!"

Woojin widened his eyes. "Says the one who left me hanging for a month!" Woojin hugged his girlfriend and gave her a wet, sloppy kiss on the cheek. "I love you, Minjae. I really do."

"I know and I do too!"
