Victoria's P.O.V.

I jumped and screamed as our team scored another touchdown right as the buzzer went off signaling half time.  Collins was up 48-6.  We hope to hit atleast 60 points by the end of the game.

"Victoria!  Come with me to buy food!" Teagan grabbed me by the hand before I could make it up into the stands to the rest of the group.

"Tay, I gotta go talk to Ryan!  I promised him I'd come and see him at the half." I blushed and teagan squealed.  I think she was more excited about this Ryan thing than I was!

"Ok you do that!  I'll just go find Olivia."  She smiled, and ran off into the sea of people.

I forced my way through the crowd trying to spot my group of friends.  They always sat in the student section of the stands, with the seniors.  I finally found Cole waving to me, and I began to climb towards him.  As the sight of my friends grew larger and larger, my stomach lurched when I saw August sitting next to Cole!  He grinned at me and winked, and I waved back to him.

"Victoria hey!  Ya found me!" I felt someone touch my arm and I turned to find Ryan's gorgeous dimples bulging through his smile.

"Oh Ryan hey, I was just gun-" But he cut me off before I could finish my scentene.

"Guys this is Victoria the girl I was telling you about." Some of the senior cheerleaders smiled at me, but I already knew them from practice and stuff.   But the others smiled and hugged me and I was surprised at how welcoming they were.

"Ryan I didnt know you and Vic were a thing!"  A cheerleader named Grace called out.  We got along well and stoold by eachother during the games.

"Um well" Ryan stuttered for a response.

"Oh shut up Grace, you know we are just hanging out and stuff!"  I laughed, and I felt Ryan relax beside me.

The seniors began to talk and mingle again, and Ryan sneakily grabbed my hand,  and I felt myself get nervous again.  He was talking to his friends as he began to stroke my hand with his thumb.  That's when I remembered August and I turned around to find him just a few rows above me.  He was already looking at me.

"Hey" I mouthed, and he slightly grinned before turning around to talk to Allison, my frenemy that we wont get into right now.

My stomach dropped as I realized what I'd done.  August had surprised me by coming to my first game and I didnt even talk to him at halftime.  He'd get over it though.  He always does.

August's P.O.V.

"Man forget about it!  Take a smoke and relax.  Who gives a fuck about VIctoria anyways?" Cole slapped me on the back and it only pissed me off more.
