chapter 13

i started my day at 3am when Belle decided to keep me up all night crying, i cradled her to my chest and started hushing her back to sleep "shhhttt its okay mommys here" i whispered cradling her so that Grayson wouldn't wake up. i finally managed to get her back to sleep as i drifted myself off into another peaceful sleep once again.

i woke up the next morning at 9:30 am which is really late considering I'm a mother of a new born baby that usually gets up at around 6:00am. i looked to my left side to notice that Grayson wasn't there, i looked over to my right side to also notice that Belle isn't sleeping in her cradle next to me either, i headed down the stairs to see if they were in there.

as I  made my way down the stairs i head into the living room to see a shirtless Grayson in nothing but sweats holding Belle close to his chest. "good morning" he says standing up to kiss my lips "morning" i blushed "how come you didn't wake me" i ask as he follows me from the door to sit on the sofa in front of us. "your forgetting i sleep next to you, you have been up all night with the baby" he says "well you helped me so, so were yo.." "shhhttt" he cut me off and i giggled as i slapped his free arm his other holding Belle. "theres pancakes and a starbucks on the counter in the kitchen if you want it" he says as i stand up and head to the kitchen island.

"aw oh my god grayyyyyy, you didn't have too" i say looking at the pancakes he made with a starbucks and a bouquet of flowers lay on the kitchen island, i peck his lips and sit down to eat my breakfast. today is the twins moms birthday, she does a lot for me ever since i first got with grayson all those years ago, she was so welcoming and loving. Even when we announced the pregnancy she came to every single scan and waited in the waiting room for an hour per scan, and when i was in labour she came and waited a six long hours in a waiting room with no cell phone signal, she is truly the best mother in law anyone could ask for. so that being said i wanted to treat her to something expensive since she has literally always been here for me and supported me since day one she 100% deserves it!

"hey Gray i was thinking should take your mom shopping today since its her birthday and we had no clue what to get her and its better then money" i began "yeah you take her shopping with Belle and cameron and me and ethan we set up a surprise party for her when she comes home" he replied "sounds like a plan " i say with a smile. i text lisa and ask her if she's free to go shopping which she was so i took Belle from grayson and headed up stairs to get her ready i put her in a wooly jumper and matching bottoms i also put her cream coat on with a fur hood. She looked adorable so i snapped a picture and posted it to my instagram, after i got Belle ready i began to get myself ready i put on a plain white vest top tucked into a pink tartan skirt with a short fox fur jacket and nude valentino heels since i was treating everyone at nice fancy restaurant, once I'm ready i do my hair and head downstairs to Grayson who is also fully ready and we head over to his parents.

as we pull up to the dolan house hold we see ethans car already here, since ethan and grayson are doing this party together with their dad sean I'm taking my car that where in now. i get out of the car and grab my purse from the back seat and grayson grabs belle along with the carseat. grayson is the first opening the door and i follow behind him, grayson, ethan, hayden, cameron and i all chipped into one present for lisa along with some presents which we bought separately. "hey guys!" me and grayson say in sync "happy birthday lisa" i say and embrace her in a hug, i take the carseat from grayson so he can also say happy birthday to his mom. i sit down on the sofa and take belle out of her carseat to place her on my lap, ethan almost immediately comes rushing over to me to take belle into his own arms so i give her to him. About half an hour passed when i heard grayson say " hey mom will we all do presents when your home from you shopping trip" lisa nods in response as i buckle belle into her carseat and cameron grabs her and lisa's jackets as we head outside.

"so lisa do you have any ideas on what you want?" i ask focusing on the road "i don't know i don't want nothing expensive" she replied with a little giggle. " I'm getting you whatever you like you do so much for us all and you deserve it!" i say and look over to her still concentrating on the road, she returned the smile. i pull up to the carpark at barneys (i know there is no barneys in new jersey but i couldn't think of anywhere else lol) i grab Belles pram from the trunk of the car, lisa and cameron got out of the car and lisa got Belle for her car seat and placed her in the now set up pram and wrapped her up in a blanket.

we entered barneys at the mall and head to all the stands, lisa was looking at a purse i knew that she wanted it because she always talks about wanting a designer handbag but would never buy one for herself, so i thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get her one. she glanced at the price tag and put it down, i knew she would do this and try to walk away so i used the excuse of going to the bathroom but i was really going to buy her the purse. " hi can i help you today" the smart looking boy said to me, he was about my age "hi yes can i have this purse please?" i respond "of course follow me to the counter" he smirked. "that will be $3589 please" the kind man said to me, i enter my card to the machine and pay for the purse that lisa wanted once i finished paying i tried to take the bag from the counter until the boy who helped me before grabbed my arm pulling me into what looked like a store room, "erm excuse me get off me!" i nearly shouted "sorry i was just wondering can i get your number"he says leaning in "I'm actually engaged and have a baby thank you now leave me alone" i say nearly shouting again and taking a few steps back he just scoffs, i grab the bag from the counter and try to get back to lisa cameron and Belle as fast as i can.

I see them standing by a rack of jackets so i rush over to them and hand the bag to lisa "happy birthday" i say again with a smile "what is it?" she giggles "the purse you were eyeing up over there before" i say with a little giggle as her jaw drops "Millie! you shouldn't have its far too expensive" she said and lightly taps my arm, " hey i said you deserve it and I'm getting you anything you like so be careful"i say laughing pushing Belle around the shop. "hey guys you see that guy stood by the shoes over there?" i say pointing to the man that pulled me into the store room earlier, "yeah?" they both say in sync "well he tried to kiss me before and asked for my number by dragging me into a store room but i got out before he tried anything" i say quietly . "are you kidding report him!" cameron says and lisa agrees with her, " I'm only concerned about grayson because you know what he's like" i say, grayson is very over protective of me and belle which is nice but sometimes annoying if you understand like if a guy even looks at me a certain way, he will start shouting at him.

*AN HOUR LATER* TEXT MESSAGES

grayson Xx- hey gorgeous, you can come home whenever your ready everything set up. love you X

me- hey where on our way we have just finished eating. love you too XX

grayson Xx- see you soon XX

we have all just finished eating, Grayson just text me saying that the surprise party is set up so i pay the bill, lisa and cameron tried to chip in but i declined and payed it all. we headed to the car to go back to the dolan house hold.

As we pulled up the house was pitch black, cameron opened the door and me and lisa followed behind when everyone jumped on and the lights where flickered on "SURPRISE!!!" everyone shouted lisa was in complete shock which we all found cute, she thanked everyone and we sat down to watch her open her presents. i had belle cradled into my chest as grayson held my free hand, " since you know what have got you open them first" i say which she did, we got her a black chanel bag and a gucci jacket which she really appreciated, Cameron her fiancé and 4 year old son got her some valentino heels matching mine which i found cute and ethan and hayden got her a tiffanies bracelet and necklace. it was time for her to open her last present from us all which i was the most excited about, as she thought she had opened all her presents she started thanking everyone around her "hey mom one more thing" grayson said as well sat and smiled he handed her an envelope "before you open this, it was from us all" ethan said and she nodded "you guys have spoilt me enough you didn't have to get me anything else!" she said "just open it" cameron said rolling her eyes as we all laughed. "are you guys kidding!?!?!" at this point she was tearing up "BoraBora!!!!!" she exclaimed and we all giggled, "we thought you could use some time away, you and sean leave next week" i say and she got up and hugged us all thanking us multiple times.
