Chapter 20

A few months later

I woke up bright and early this morning because today is belles 1st birthday, we decided to throw her a party so I wanted to make sure everything was ready before hand so I don't have to stress later today.  I go around the house tidying and cleaning for guests, I set the living room up last night so that it was ready for belle to open her presents this morning it looks adorable.

As soon as you enter the living room you are surrounded in baby pink everything; the presents are neatly wrapped in baby pink wrapping paper and are sitting in the couch, their is bunting and banners everywhere with decorative balloons all over the floor as well as a large unicorn balloon that I regret buying.

I walk upstairs to wake Grayson up when I see that belle has walked from her bed and got in my bed with him, I lightly tap his bare shoulder he opens one eye and keeps one closed.
"Get up! I want to show belle downstairs" I say
"It's not me you have to convince" he says smiling looking down at his chest and stomach where belle is lay across him.
"Hey baby" I whisper to belle and tap her shoulder, she sleepily lifts her head up
"Happy birthday angel" I say kissing her nose "do you want to go and see if they're is anything g downstairs for you?" I ask smiling she just tiredly nods her heads and climbs off of Grayson as he heads to the bathroom to throw some clothes on.

We head downstairs, I had belle in my arms as Grayson went first and took pictures of her. Once we reached the living room, I put belle down and she immediately ran over to the unicorn balloon (I knew she'd love that)
"Belle? Look at all those on the sofa" Grayson says giggling as she ran over to the little gap between her presents. We bought her a bunch of toys and she seemed really happy with them all, I took them upstairs and put them in her toy room so that she could play with them a little later on.
"Hey, I'll go and start breakfast yeah?" Grayson asks
"Yes please" I say pecking his lips and smiling.

I head into the living room where belle is sat on the floor watching tv whilst playing with two of her dolls that I let her keep downstairs, I didn't want all of the toys in the way when guests arrive so I moved them for more space. I scrolled through my Instagram until Grayson called me and belle into the kitchen for breakfast.
"Here you go baby" Grayson says as he hands her the small breakfast he made
"And here you go baby number 2" he says laughing as I hold my middle finger up
"I'm kidding thanks gray" I say and he smiles sitting down with his food. We all finished our breakfast and headed upstairs to get ready for belles party.

I got myself ready first and let belle play with her new toys in her toy room. I put on a tweed skirt and jacket and a pair of heels, I paired this with curly hair and red lipstick. Once I had finished getting myself ready, I put belle in a baby pink sundress, sandals and a baby pink bow in her hair.

Belle was now opening presents as me and Grayson was socialising with some relatives until Hayden and Ethan came through the door with a huge box in their hands.
"Hey guys" they both say
"Hey" I say kissing both of them on the cheek "and really? Is there any need for the size of that box, I have no room for it" I say with a stupid face
"Oh be quite she'll love it" Ethan says
"Ass hole" I laugh
"Belle!" Ethan shouts
"Uncle E auntie Hayden" she runs up to them and gives them a huge hug and hands her the present, she opens up the presents to see the toy kitchen picture on the front of the box.
"I love it" she squealed, belle is really cleaver for her age she can talk nearly properly.
"Ethan I really hate you right now" I say and he laughs

The rest of the day was spent with family and we let Ethan and Hayden stay over since it's easier and we haven't seen them in a while. He had just said goodbye to our parents who happen to be the last guests thank lord I've had such a stressful day, I take belle upstairs and put her in her pjs
"Did you have a nice day baby?" I ask kissing her
"Yeah mommy I loved it" she says
"I'm glad, Should we go and say na- night to everyone it's getting very late angel?" I say and she nods her head sleepily. I put her on my right hip and head down stairs to everyone who was sat in the sitting room
"Say goodnight to everyone and give everyone a kiss" I put her on the floor and she went around kissing everyone including Grayson, she spent a little bit more time with him they looked adorable and I could feel myself tearing up at the sight. Belle ran back up to me and jumped in my arms.
"Goodnight everyone" I say and belle repeats
"Goodnight" they all say
I take belle upstairs and put her in her own bed.
"Goodnight angel" I say kissing her nose
"Goodnight mommy" she kisses me.

I heard back down stairs to everyone on the sofa in my pjs, I cuddle into grayson and the rest of the night was spent watching movies until it was too late to stay up, plus I was really tired from dealing with screaming toddlers all day so we all headed to bed.
