Sacrifices Aren't Always Necessary

Somewhere in the middle of Gotham City, the young halfa was laying in an allyway not to far from the museum. Two figures towered over the unconscious boy, with huge grins.

"What you say Pudding, what we going to do with him?"

"We're going to use him to get batman of course! When he hears we've snatched a kid, he'll be itching for a laugh!"

It was about ten minutes after Danny disappeared, that a alert appeared on Bruce's computer screen. After going over the details of what's going on, he used the zeta tube to get to the cave for the young justice heroes.

Robin and the other's were in a training session with Canary, when they heard the zeta tube announce Batman's arrival. Canary called the training over, knowing that there was a important reason now that Batman is there.

"Team report, you have a mission." Batman commanded.

"It's about time, it's been forever since our last mission!" Kid flash was practically bouncing like a manic, it was safe to say he wasn't going to stop either.

"Quit it already, lets go before we make him mad." Robin could be heard snickering in the background.

The team made it to Batman's location, to find out what their mission was.

"A little while ago, an ember alert was sent out. Recently, while out with some friends, Daniel Masters was kid-napped." Batman explained.

"Who kid-napped him?" Kid-flash asked.

"From the description, it was Joker." Robin said, interrupting Batman.

Robin shrunk back, a sheepish grin on his face, as Batman glared at him. The other's, along with Canary, retreated to the hallway.

"Joker!?" Everyone exclaimed.

The team definitely was in for an challenge, normally they can beat the clown now there's a hostage.

"Where are we suppose to start looking, we don't even know who the clown was!"

"That's where we come in to the picture!" Aqua-lad said, as he and his team descended from above the small group.

Vlad had to keep him self calm, safe to say he wasn't really expecting an answer. From the looks on the other's faces, neither were they. As the team landed in front of the group, Robin found himself slammed into the wall behind him.

"Whoa, calm down Masters. We're here to help, I swear!"

After determined to be the truth, Vlad released the boy wounder. Although, the accusing glare never left. Master's walked back over to his group, crossed his arms, and huffed as he tried to calm down.

Maddie had, had a more suttled reaction. She may have been spooked by the new appearance, but definitely had no intention of resorting to anger. The young hybrid researcher took in the scene in front of her, she was impressed in the group that presented themselves.

From what she could tell, just like Vladimir and his son, these young teens wern't normal teens. The first one to present himself was a young lad, if her research was acurate he was an Alantian. At least as close to one as she could think of, he must be a hybrid like the half's are.

His appearance was quite simple really, he definitely looked more human than fish. But she couldn't deny his place of origin no doubt was Atlantis. He had short yellow/blondish hair, gills on each side of his neck, dark colored of what looked like, tattoos down both his arms.

It was hard to tell but it looked like his outfit consisted of a one piece, fitted, sleeveless jumpsuit. If her wore shoes she couldn't find any, but what stood out about the outfit, was the two water weapons located strapped to his back. He apparently was the leader, named Kaldur'ahm.

Next to him was a young boy who looked like he had, had too much caffeine. He had red/orangish, spiky hair, on top of his head was a pair of googles. His face was mostly covered by a mask, red/yellow in design, it matched the jumpsuit he was wearing. It was also red, and yellow in coloring.

In the middle of his chest, there was a white circle with a lightening bolt through it. He had introduced himself as, Kid Flash. There were three more standing with them, two boys, and a girl.

The first one was a small boy, dark raven hair, he wore a mask that, for some reason, only covered his eyes. His outfits color scheme consisted of red, yellow, and black. His top part was red, with black buckles the crossed over the front of his top torso, yellow belt that, no doubt, could hold weapons in it, and black...

Maddie couldn't really tell if they were leggings, or skinny pants. Over the top of the main part, was a black cape, with yellow lining, along with the inner side of the cape being yellow. Definitely, was sure he had said his name was Robin, the Boy Wonder.

In her defense, she's never met them. How he got that title to his name, Maddie didn't have the slightest clue. Now the next, and last boy of the group was probably slightly taller then the leader himself.

He had dark raven hair, just like Daniel does. The boy wears a black, short sleeved shirt, that has a red "S" in the middle of it. His pants were a dark blue, and his shoes were black.

The last of the group was the female, obviously she wasn't from earth. She had green skin, had redish/orange hair similar to her daughter Jasmine. Her outfit was a knee length dress, the top of it was was white with a red "X" going across it, the bottom half was a solid blue. She wore a blue cape that went down almost all the way to the floor, and blue boots folded over on the top.

Sam, and Tucker waisted no time and told the young heros what happened. The rest of the day was spent trying to come up with a plan, no matter what they would find the young halfa.
