Mona's Perspective

As the time machine opened Noah threw the smoke bomb and I ran to the computer knocked out the receptionist and started hacking everything. I started talking to Noah through the ear piece.

"I thought this was suppose to be the hardest security in the world. Everything is going good over here How's everything going with you?" I asked anxiously.

"Everything is going great; it's getting hard to see because of the smoke bomb but its not effecting me that much." Noah said in a clam voice which surprised me.

"Try to get to the door on the second floor, that is where the mastermind works they won't be there now but they will soon so get there fast. Maybe if we see their files we can find out their name and information."

"Making my way to the second floor now; I see the door it's very old fashion which is weird considering it's year 2040." Noah said to me through his earpiece.

"Making my way there now, don't open it until I get there!" I started to run up the stirs as fast as I could. This is it this is my chance to find out who took my brothers life aways from my father and I. As I thought this to myself I started to realize that we need a key, it's not like a digital lock where I can find the passcode somewhere in a room or hack the key pad. Then I convinced myself that maybe Noah was just messing with me; deep down I knew that wasn't true. Why would he mess with me on a mission? When I finally got to the top level of the building I found that Noah was surrounded by guards with gas mask on; all of the guards were armed with they can kill Noah I can't let that happen. I kicked one of the guards gun out of reach hopefully so they can get distracted and focus on me instead of Noah, my planned work they were all staring at me.

"Noah shoot now!" I screamed at him.

"But you said not to kill any-" I cut him off before he can finish his sentence.

"Just trust me and shoot!" As he shot the gun he realized what I filled the gun with.

"These aren't real bullets; did you fill up this gun with tranquilize darts?" Noah asked as he shot the second dart.

"Yeah, I didn't want you to actually kill someone!" I screamed as I punch a guard in the face knocking him out.

"Noah we have to go more of them are coming upstairs, we can't take on anymore of these guards." I said as I grabbed Noah's hand and ran. We finally got into my machine barely in time before more of the guards could catch up with us.

"Going to present day." The robotic voice said.

"Mona why couldn't you get to the door on your own?" Noah asked me out of breath

"Well it was just always hard for me I could never hack the system and get to the top floor all at once now that I actually have an extra pair of hands it's a big help.

"Oh, well I'm never busy so you can always call me." Noah said almost laughing; we finally got back to my house and as we changed back to our normal clothes Noah got a text.

"I have to go." Noah said in an emotionless tone and was almost running out the door.

"Noah wait where are you going?" I said as I grabbed his hand.

"I'm sorry I just have to go." Noah said rushing out of the door.

"Noah, wait at least let me give you-!" I couldn't finish my sentences in time he ran out the door too quickly.

Hours passed I texted Noah to see if everything was okay but he didn't respond I don't know why but I was so worried about him. After those few hours I couldn't remember the rest of that night, the rest I remember is going to the bathroom and I was about to wash my face until I heard a familiar voice I knew exactly who it was.

"Hey darling" It was him, the boy who made me sick to my stomach he didn't even seem human to me anymore he seemed like a monster; after that voice I just remember a pain in my neck and my head banging against the floor.
