Chapter Sixteen

Mona's Perspective

When I opened my eyes I was at a dinner table with my brother and father, my mother was at the sink.

What's happening? I was just fighting off my mother with a gun.

I was about to get up from the table, but I couldn't do anything but watch Dylan put that fork in his mouth, watch him eat his last meal.

"So how was school you two?" My mother asked. I wanted to scream do something but all I said was

"It was great! I got a 98 on my math test." I had no control over anything.

"It was okay I guess." Dylan said that day he failed his science test. Then I was in my bed, I went to the bathroom knowing I was going to see Dylan dying but there was no one in the bathroom. But there was my mother sitting in the dark in the living room.

"I know what you did." My mother said in a cold tone.

"Excuse me?" Sometimes you just have to play dumb.

"You shot me." My mother said as she got up from the chair, that's when we were on the rooftop of the club I almost jumped off of and there was a gun in my hands. I has no control over what was happening. I held up the gun and I shot her. As I shot her I could feel Liams arms around me.

"She was a bad person darling, I'm proud of you." He whispered in my ear after she fell Liam disappeared I turned around and Dylan was there. There was a flower instead of an eye and blood on his mouth.

"It was impossible to save me Mona, you knew that all along. But you saved thousands of people thank you. Your heroic acts are beautiful yet they cause chaos in your mind." I ran up to hug Dylan we hugged for a second then he faded away and I woke up to a beautiful sound.

"Mona, Mona can you hear me?" It was Noah.

"Noah?" I said as I sat up. Then I hugged him and started crying. "I couldn't save him Noah, but I saw him one last time to say goodbye."

"It's okay Mona I'm here. Everything will be okay no more chaos." Noah said as he hugged me.

Weeks passed, I was still recovering from well, everything. Some good things did happen in that amount of time. Noah and I started dating, Emily went to her new school I was in a good state of mind. It was the night before the first day of school when something strange happened. Noah and I went to sleep and I started to hear something so I woke up and I saw a shadow of a person with my bat over my head. I thought it was Liam, but Liam would never use a bat that's when Noah woke up.

"Luna?!" Noah said in confusion after that the person put the bat down you could tell they were also confused.

A/N: Congrats, you've made it to the end of this story I almost cried many times while writing this. I hope you liked it, there is am AU ending where Noah is the mastermind and Mona joins Liam again. But if that was the official ending there wouldn't be a squeal. There will be a squeal to this I have no idea when it will come out but there is a squeal.
