This story is dedicated to Nicole Dunlop as she is co writing this with me!! xxx

Light streamed through the apartment windows causing Frankie to stir, as the smell of pancakes drifted into the room causing Frankie to roll out of bed.  She smelt the sweet scent of pancakes, which could only be described as heavenly.  Nicole danced around the kitchen humming Misery Business by Paramore whilst making pancakes.  Frankie followed the humming and started to hum with Nicole whilst setting the table ready for their breakfast, before their first day at Mystic High.  They quickly ate and got ready with Nicole wearing black skinny jeans, white vest top and a blue hoody with blue plimsolls.  Frankie wore black tights, and an off white lacy dress and white Mary-Jane heels.  They both wore a silver bracelet and stud earrings.  Nicole had no make-up on whilst Frankie had no foundation but blush, black smoky eyes and thick black eyeliner with a thick coat of mascara and pink lipstick.

They left the apartment block screaming a bye to the woman from the night before.  As they approached the school they both gave each other an uneasy, nervous look.  They walked through the gates and headed to the reception desk and got their timetables and locker combinations.  They were both in all the same classes, starting with European History with a Mr Tanner.  They quickly headed to their locker and dumped off their books and headed to room 171.  They entered the class a saw a hawk eyed balding man staring at them.  Nicole started to move behind Frankie whilst Frankie said, “We are new here, I’m Frankie Whiticome and that is Nicole Lozier.  Are you Mr Tanner?”

The man said, “Yes, and you are both late.  Take a seat and I will excuse you today but anymore and you need to get a late slip from reception.”  They both took the available seats at the back of the room and got out their notebooks and started taking notes.

As class ended, a boy walked up to them and offered to show them round.  “I’m Stefan Salvatore, do you want me to show you round?  I and my best friend, Elena, could show you both around and then you could sit with us and our other friends at lunch.  What do you have next?”

“Erm….yeah that would be great.  Thank you so much, we have art next with Mrs Flores.  What do you and Elena have next?”  Frankie replied.

“Elena has art with you and so does Bonnie, another of our friends.  I have music and Caroline has drama.  What are your locker numbers?  I’ll meet you there.”  Stefan said.

“We are lockers 234 and 233.  So shall we tell Elena that you want us to sit with you at lunch or shall we just not talk to her at all?”  Frankie asked.

“Just start talking to her, she is very friendly and will probably ask you to sit with us at lunch as well!!  I have to go.  Bye,” Stefan called as he started to walk away to his class.  They walked together to room 144 and sat at an easel.  A girl walked in, who had long brown straight hair, olive skin and kind brown eyes.  She noticed the girls and walked up to them and said, “Hi, I’m Elena, you must be new here.  Do you want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?  Am I being too full frontal?  I am really sorry.  Please forgive me; I think we can be great friends!”  Elena said balefully.

“No, it’s fine.  I think one of your friends, Stefan, asked us as well.  He said you were very friendly!!  I’m glad you asked us.”  Nicole said shyly.

“Aw man!!  Stefan got to you first!! It’s always a competition as to who can become friends with the new students first.”  Elena complained.

“It’s fine.  I think we are more friends with you then Stefan, Elena!!  Of course we will sit with you at lunch.”  Frankie said excitedly.  They were then shushed by the teacher and told to get on with work.  Nicole drew a little girl with a woman who looked exactly alike.  Frankie drew a meadow filled with a plant she had never seen before.  Elena looked at their drawings and was shocked at the depth in Nicole’s and the plant in Frankie’s drawing.  The lesson soon ended and the three, Nicole, Frankie, Elena and Elena’s mocha skinned friend Bonnie, walked to their lockers to wait for Stefan.  After arriving at the correct lockers, they waited mere seconds before Stefan waltzed up to the lockers, and his gaze swung between the four.  He linked arms with Elena, who linked arms with Bonnie and Bonnie with Nicole and Frankie.
