Gratsu: The deaf

Chapter 2-Gray

After hearing the news Natsu is deaf- I felt sick to my stomach of the thought of what would it be like not to hear, after I broke the hug with Natsu.

I saw Erza doing some motions with her hands- Natsu smiles with a big grin, as he nodded. "Erza, what did you do?" I asked wondering what those motions were.

"Those motions were sign language, they are how I talk to Natsu- since he can't talk like us." Erza patted Natsu after she said that, Natsu clapped from the attention.

"Can you teach me some of those moves?" I asked- if it's the only way I can talk to Natsu; then so be it. I will do anything to talk to him and get him to smile like that again.

"Sure, Gray- but right now I got to get back to work, and also I got to make you that coffee- hold on." Soon Erza said that she wasn't there anymore.

I turned back to Natsu, he had a dopey look on his face, which made him even adorable- he embraced me, as nuzzled his head into my chest, I patted his head- has Erza has done not so long ago.

Erza soon came back, and smiled at the touching scene, "Here you go, Gray." As she handed me my coffee, "Thank you, Erza." Erza just nodded, as she left again to go look for something- she came back quicker then last time, she had a book in her arms, the title said, 'A Sign Language Guide', "This is what I use to study sign language, and now you can have it." As she gave it to me, I nodded to thank her, "Hey Erza, is there another way I can get out of here without going through the front?"

Erza responded, "Yes, of course- come on and follow me- say bye to Natsu." I looked at Natsu, I think he can figure I'm leaving, because he had tears in his eyes, and I told Erza quickly, "Erza, tell Natsu- that I will see him again one day." Erza nodded, as she when to Natsu and did her sign language with both hands, after she said that- Natsu smiled even bigger as he clapped happily.

"Come on, Erza- I got to go home." Erza nodded again, as she show me the exit, it was actually right next to room that Natsu was in, so Erza opened the door for me, and said "Bye, Gray,- I hope Natsu can see you again."
