Manya was feeling so comfortable; she was drifting on a soft cloud. She had never felt so good. She was dreaming and she didn't want to wake up but life didn't go that way. Before she could enjoy her sleep some more, two little hands snaked over her arm and shook her awake with all their strength, followed by, "Mommy, wake up! You'll get us late. Wake up!" Manya opened a sleepy eye to look at her tormentor. Her 3 year old daughter, Saba was standing there; ready to go to school in her uniform. That made her fully awake and sit up. What time was it? She would be late again getting them ready for school, she thought in panic. Then she looked at her daughter, "Hey who got you ready?" "Daddy did. Aap itne aaram se so rahe the alarm se bhi nahin uthe. Toh daddy uth gaye aur unhone hamein tayyar kar diya. Who abhi Sara ke baal bana rahe hain aur mujhe aapko uthane bheja hai. Daddy hamara breakfast nahin bana sakte na", Saba finished with a smile so like her father. Manya laughed, picked her daughter up in her arms and kissing her all over face. She giggled and shouted in protest at the same time and wriggled out of her mother's arms to race towards the kitchen. Manya followed her, passing her twin daughters' room in the way. She looked inside and what she saw warmed her heart more than anything, Ronit was sitting in one of the tiny chairs, trying to balance himself and tie Sara's pigtails at the same time. She couldn't help but laugh at that and he looked up, "Oh good, you are up. Can you please get Sara ready for me; I don't understand a single thing about this." "No, you took the task on yourself and now you should do it. It will make you appreciate me more. Come on Sara, help daddy get you ready and come for breakfast. You're going to be late for school." Manya walked towards the kitchen where Saba was already making a racket, demanding her breakfast. Both of her daughters' may look the same, but they were complete opposite in personality. While Saba was loud and boisterous, getting mixed up with strangers; Sara was more quiet and reserved in nature. She loved both her children fiercely. At last Ronit succeeded in getting Sara ready and got her down for breakfast. Just as they had finished eating, a horn blared outside their gate signaling the arrival for their school bus. Both the girls rushed towards the bus with their things. They boarded the bus and looked out of the window to say their goodbyes. Ronit and Manya were standing by the gate, waving goodbye and sending flying kisses. Soon their bus left, leaving behind a cloud of dust and two sad parents, "Why do they have to go to school, can't I keep them with every time?" Manya said in a pseudo-lamenting voice. She turned to hug her husband, who put his arms around her and turned her towards their home. "How did I get so lucky?" Ronit asked on entering inside and pulling Manya close to him. Manya put her arms around his neck and said, "I think it was that Valentine's Day dance, don't you think?" She smiled up at him and kissed him lovingly. When they stopped, Ronit said, "Hmmm...I think we should play that game more often, don't you think?" Manya laughed, "Once was enough for me."
