i am so late,oh god why do my legs refuse to cooperate when i want them the most, manya thought as she hurried to pick up her pace. if she didn't made it to her class in the next 5 mins, she didnt stand a chance to be let in the class.already ananya had messaged her twice asking her when she would reach the class.just as she was about to walk up the stairs, someone spoke from behind her back,"ah, if it isn't ms.early bird".manya froze in her tracks and turned to see who that was,even though she would have recognised that voice anytime and anywhere.nobody could speak in a such saccharine sweet sarcasm so bright and early in the morning other than Dr.Ronit raheja.oh, god please not him please not at this moment, manya dreaded facing him at any normal hour and especially at times like this."good morning sir, sorry i can't stay i am already late for my class",manya said."well not that i am surprised seeing you late for your class,but may i know why are you late",ronit asked with a sneering smile on his face which was gradually becoming a trademark of his."on the risk of soundin rude, it's none of your business sir",manya said through gritted teeth."of course i can't expect a civilised response from you,get going for your class,i dont want you blaming me for being thrown out of your class", ronit said and went on his way not caring for the fact that he was the one stalling manya.as if i was waiting for his permission to proceed, manya thought snappishly while entering her class which was thankfully without any lecturer yet.

"ah oh, it can't be good news if you are looking like this",ananya observed looking at manya's furious expression."not that i need to ask, but who did you meet while coming here",asked rhea."who else, dat insufferable, ronit sir, god i could kill that man".her friends knew how much she hated ronit.manya was always surprised how ronit was able to bring out this side of her.she was never rude to anyone, especially not to her seniors but she couldnt help but snap at ronit evrytime she met or talked to him.Dr. Ronit was a postgraduate student in there college and always had a air of superiorness around him.he never failed to show off his 'supreme' knowledge to anyone listening and according to manya had loads of attitude. it didn't helped that he was mostly right."i can't believe i had to face the guy first thing in the morning, can my morning be any worse",manya wailed."abhi tak lecture shuru nahin hua, so your morning cant be that bad",tamanna joined in,trying to console her."arre, manu tu aa gayi,mujhe to pata hi nahin chala",suzannah said looking up from her book which was a small miracle because everyone knew only wild horses could drive suzannah away from her pre-lecture reading."i don't know why he is so caustic towards me,what have i ever done to him,i dont see him talking like this to sonia or her cronies".sonia roy and her band of merrymakers,as rhea liked to call them were what you can call queen bee and her hive.she never failed to strut her 'stuff' or flirt with anyone if it meant getting favour,as rhea pointed out evry moment she could get."sonia flirts with anything that breaths if it means getting her job done",pari added."yeah thats right,and ronit sir is quite sexy, toh yeh toh uska birth right ho gaya unke saath flirt karna",rhea said."WHAT!! you find ronit sir sexy!!,manya exclaimed."yeah he's quite sexy and not to forget hhooottt.he has this smouldering eyes thing going on which is sooo seexxyyy",continued rhea."oh my,god!! i can't believe this, you guys find him hot and sexy",manya said while looking at each of them."i don't look at any of my seniors that way, so you can count me out",tamanna said."i'll have to agrre with rhea on this,he is quite goodlooking",ananya said with a mischievious smile."tu mat sun inki baatein manu,yeh log toh aisi hi bolte rehte hain",suzannah said."ohhhoo, look who's speaking,didn't you just said the other night that you think he is like sex on wheels",rhea said while ananya, tamanna and pari broke into peals of laughter."I DID NOT!!!! it was you who said that",suzannah exclaimed when manya looked disbwliviengly at her."yeah but you did agree and that is the same thing",rhea answered.manya could only shake her head in disbelief and was saved from saying anything by the arrival of their lecturer who was fortunately or unfortunately late.manya wished she had not heard what her friends thought about ronit.she didnt want them to think of him as sexy or hot or goodlooking.she wanted them to hate him as much as she did.she could never understand why she hated ronit so much but she could just not help it.she was safe in the knowledge that she would never have any other kind of feelings for ronit other than intense hate and loathing because of her feelings for siddharth.
