A few months later it was our birthday. Yes, you heard me correctly our birthday. March 11. We're twins. Yep, my sister and I share the birthday but, not the looks. I look like neither of my parents but my sister, she looks like our mom. She also stoops me by a centimeter.
Me, I look like Dad but I have jet brown hair not black. The Closest thing to black but not black. Brown. Dad says I look like Grandma but, it's a mix of both black AND brown. But, my hair does turn jet black in the winter. I look a slightly like Dad then.
Anyways, back to the birthday twin thing. We shared a birthday. I gave her a gift and she gave one back. Usually, we shared the gift unless it was jewelry. We got a matching necklace and bracelet for one birthday. It was from our father. They both had a trident on them. She got the bracelet, I got the necklace.
We seemed to have a connection. My sister and I. We probably could've been twins if we weren't exactly a year hello. We had gotten video games, candy, cool necklaces, and a new phone. Just not an iPhone.
They never give us iPhones. They always say, 'They're just too expensive for us.' Well although that is true they have more space than other phones. It was on our birthday that we found out.
March 11. It was awesome. It went a little like this...
After the party, they told us we were going somewhere that we could never tell our friends. They told us it was a camp. We drove there and it took about a day. But we first stopped by our grandparent's house in Manhattan.
Our parents and grandmother went into another room while Grandpa Paul was telling jokes. He said, "Hey what's a fish without an eye." "You," I said as he told it many times and I wanted a new answer. "Hey, at least I have one good eye." "But you can't see out the other one without a unilense." "It's called a moni-" "I know what it is called." "Oh well," he said, "wanna play Battleship" I looked at him with a sideways look. "Are you crazy Grandpa. Of course, I do."
We played the game for about 10 minutes when my dad came out and he had six presents. Two from each of our grandparents and two of them from our parents.
I opened mine from a weird looking wrapping. It was a shoe box. I looked at them with a questioning because they knew I didn't care about shoes. But then it made weird sounds. I opened it up. It looked as though a puppy, but the box was way too big for a normal puppy. I'd never seen this kind of breed.
I picked up the puppy to see the gender. I looked away when I saw. It was definitely a boy.
"Thanks. Where'd you get it?" I asked looking at my grandparents. "Well, your parents have a friend and their friend has a dog, who was your dad's dog at one point in time, in which the dog had puppies. So, automatic loyalty to the child most like him." He looked at my dad as if he was scared the dog was gonna try to eat me or something.
"Watcha gonna name him?" My dad asked. "Midnight. Or Night for short."
They had a satisfied look on their face. I saw a cage like present for my sister. "Hey sis open yours." Bianca started to open her present with a disappointed look. I guess she probably thought she was gonna get a present that wasn't as good as mine. She was way wrong.
Hey guys I finished this ON my birthday which is Ounce De Marzo. March the Eleventh. Also there is gonna be a part two to this chapter. See ya later I guess.
