When the final bell rang I practically ran out of the school. As I unlocked my bike I heard someone call my name. "Y/N!" I looked over to see Michael. He had his headphones on and he was walking towards me. "Hey Michael." I replied, clipping my helmet on. "So uh, I was uh wondering." He trailed off and blushed a little. "What?." I asked slighting confused. "Can I walk you home? I've got no where to be." I grinned. "You could have just started walking with me and I would have been fine with it." He laughed nervously. As we talked, I found out we have a lot in common. Sadly, we reached my front door. "Hey maybe you could sit with me and my friend Jeremy tomorrow at lunch!" He said a with excitement. "Definitely, it beats sitting in the hall way." He smiled and started to walk away. "See you tomorrow Y/N!" "See ya!"
I run up to my room and immediately got out his phone number. I entered it into my phone and smiled. I finally had a friend. We texted later that night.

I woke up at my usual time, everything was as it normally was. Except, I got a text from Michael.
-M Hey can I walk with you? I figured you could use the company.
I smiled at the message.
-Y/N Sure why not be here by 7:05
A little while later I heard a knock at my door. I grabbed my bag and opened up the door. Michael stood there with a huge grin on his face. "Hey! Ready to go?"
"Yep. Let's go!" This was the first time in a while, that I walked to school smiling.
