Victoria

As I walked into the house I tried to wrap my head around what had just happened. I plop down on the couch when the phone rings.

"I-i-i-i mi-m-mis-ss Jeremy!!!!" Ashley wails into the phone as I answer.

"First Ashley, stop crying. Now tell me what's wrong."

"Well we were outside playing with the dogs when Mimi asked me if I had a b-bo-boy-f-fr-friendddddd!!!" And she starts to wail again. God this girl can be soooo annoying.

"For god's sake Ashley shut up! You know how much I hate people who try to talk and cry." Seriously can't they just pick one? Either talk or cry because you can't do both apparently.

"Sorry. Your right ill see him soon and he calls me every day. You know you give really good advice."I gave her advice?

"Anyway how's it going out there?"

"Well let's see I was awakened at 5 IN THE MORNING." I said raising my voice enough so that they could hear me. Their reply of course was one of them throwing an apple at my head.

"Assholes", I muttered

"You to Mimi said something about training, and thenI'm dragged out of bed at 5am. The next morning."

"I never even got a warning. All I got was a sword thrown at my head."

"And your brother was ok with this! I mean all I got was an air horn in my ear and a 6 mile run."

"Yeah, he said she's crazy but one of the best fighters he's ever seen."We went on talking till almost 6. The whole time I was trying to figure out why I ran earlier. I mean, I just met him and I trusted him enough to run when he told me to.

"Hello. Hello. HELLOOOO!!!!! Victoria!"

"Huh, what, yes."

"You have been spacing out since we got on the phone is there something that you want to tell me?"

"What, no, of course not."

"Yeah right there's something you're not telling me so spill it. Or do I have to tell Michel to interrogate you? Your choice."

"Why would you do something like that!? What kind of sister are you?"

"The kind that doesn't like it when her siblings keep secrets from her now spill."

"Alright....fine, I um..." I mumbled the last couple of words. Hopefully shell give up now.

"That's it I'm calling Michel..." I guess not.

"Wait no! I met an um.... a boy today in the woods." My voice went softer with each word and Ashley went silent all together." This is soooo not a good sigh.

"Victoria it's time to eat."Brianna called from downstairs.

"Sorry ah I gotta go." I replied quickly

"Wait what no I have ques..." I hung up. Now was not the right time to have this discussion.

As I went to bed that night I decided this was going to see him again tomorrow, and I was gonna get some answers.

I rolled over in my tent replaying what happened over and over again. I had told her to run, and she actually didn't even ask questions.
