*Ben's pov*
I hear my alarm clock ringing like crazy.
I jump out and skip to my closet.
"A blue jumper and jeans? Perfect!"
I hop into my clothes and chuck my books into my bag.
I run downstairs as I trip over Kalvin, he was cleaning the floor with a toothbrush.
"W-what are you doing?" I ask, shocked.
Kalvin looks up "I'm c-c-cleaning"
I stand up and I help him up.
"GET READY FOR SCHOOL KID!" My dad shouts from his room.
"Y-yes" Kalvin sighs as he stands up and walks to his room.
I shrug as I skip to the kitchen.
My mother has placed my food onto the bench.
I had a Nutella sandwich, an apple and a pineapple flavoured juice box. (The juice box is not flavoured, the drink inside the juice box is flavoured)
*Kalvin's pov*
I put on a plain white shirt and black jeans.
I walk downstairs to see what I have for recess and lunch.
I place my back down.
I had 1 piece of gum.
"I-is that all?" I ask my stepmum.
"Don't you dare ask that!" She points at me, slaps my face and walks away.
I hold my cheek as Ben walks up to me.
"Woah! Are you okay!" He gasps.
"N-y-I-y-no" I sigh.
I grab my gum, put it in my bag and walks outside.
"Wait, wait! Why are you walking?" Ben asks, holding my arm.
"I-I have to" I pout as I pull myself away from him and start walking.
He stands there for a bit.
I walk away quickly before anything bad happens.
Ben runs to me "I'll come with you" he whispers.
