1. Like that we met,
Petty, casual
Funny how we easily trusted each other,
We were comfortable,
And followed on each other's words,
Careful, observant,
Not missing details,
But little did I know,
This curiosity was one sided,
And like that we part,
Petty, casual,
Funny how we leave quietly,
Comfortable with our conscious,
Like we both didn't enjoy our little time together,
But little did we know,
That we somehow were looking forward to a future,
That we both knew nothing about,
Like that we waited.
