Phantom Frost- A Short Story

Red Handed

It had been a few weeks, long enough for my back to heal, and nothing had happened.

Even when I robbed places it seemed to deathly quiet from all the heros.

I was at school, sitting through Maths not paying attention to the teacher who was droning on. The others around me were shuffling around as the period was nearly over.

Immediately all of the kids bolted to the door. I quickly stood up and followed the tsunami of children to the cafeteria.

The Cafeteria was filled with hyperactive screaming children, I made a bee line towards the only people I would consider friends they were seated at a small table at the back. There was Eren, Jessica, Lily, Kelly and Amy. A small smile slipped onto my face, these are the only people I care about in this world. I took my Normal seat beside Amy and Kelly. The others at the table didnt stop their conversation but glanced at me acknowledging my presence. I started listening to what they were going on about.

"What are you talking about Saturn is obviously the best villain!" Eren glared across the table at Lily

"Pfft you wish, Heat stroke is way better" Lily glared back with equal intensity

"Your both wrong" Amy butted in "its Phantom Frost all the way!"

I smirked at that comment if only they knew. I looked at Kelly and Jessica who both looked scared out of their minds at the arguement in front of them. I don't blame them, last time they had a fight about supers people almost died. I shuddered, I hope that doesn't happen again.

The girls argument stopped when a loud yell halted all talking in the cafeteria. It was the principal.

He was standing in front of the tuck shop looking pleased

"Attention students!" His voice bounced off the walls "Someone has come to talk to you today about staying safe from supervillians....... Please Welcome Savior and Karma"

Instantly the Room exploded with noise as people Screamed in happiness.

My heart was pounding as they walked up to stand by the principal.

"Hi Guys" Savior yelled over the noise

Karma put his finger to his lips and everyone quickly shut up

Oh god why

Savior smiled his signature charming smile and I could practically hear all the girls hearts melt.

"Were here to talk to you about Phantom Frost."

I looked over at my friends to see them all drooling over them.

How can people drool over these Murderers, these narcissistic Murderers

"As you probably know" Karma's fake smile was still plastered on his face "Phantom Frost has recently become the most dangerous Supervillian in this country"

Savior jumped in and finished for him
"We will be telling you about her so you know what to be aware of if you happen to run into her " He started to look at the people in the room I plastered a dopey grin on my face and his eyes passed by me.

"Like most Villians" Karma started to walk towards a table "She has no reason to do this"

My teeth clenched

What did he say?

"She is a evil person and needs to be put behind bars"

Evil? Has he looked in the mirror? Their craving for fame is making them blind

Karma continued his stroll around the room.

"Most likely she is mentally ill and is not stable enough for society"

I am not Mentally ill

Karma made his way to my table, put his arm on the table and looked at Eren who was smiling at him

"She should not be allowed to roam free"

The temperature dropped

My eyes widened as I tried to quickly raise the temperature again but they had already noticed. There was a slam as two teachers shut the cafeteria doors.

Instantly everyone started freaking out
"What's happening" some random annoying Kid yelled

"We have just figured out Phantom Frost is in this room" Savior grinned dangerously

"And she's not getting out"
