Unfortunately for me, the 50 wolves chosen to accompany me to the Redwood pack packed pretty fast and so 2 days later I, along with Matt, Kate, Javier and Kendall were all ready to go. Katsa was coming too as she was my Wolf saint partner. We all worked in two's-Katsa and I and Javier and Kendall and so on. Everyone was waiting by the door for me. I grabbed my two bags and jumped down the stairs to sya goodbye to those that were staying here.
"Bye mom" I said to Maria giving her a hug
"Bye Bye Sammi. Take care of yourself. We'll be up to visit in 2 weeks so I'll see you then okay?"
Lewis joined in on the hug and pecked me on the head then carefully detattched Maria from me. She pouted, upset at being away from me but I just patted her on the hand and smiled affectinately at her. She sniffled a little bit but then stepped back, allowing me to continue. I understood her hesitance to let me go. In the past years, I had become her baby, her spoiling me at any given moment. I usually went away on buisiness but this trip was to my ex-pack and she knew how hard it was gonna be for me. I would miss her for the 2 weeks we are apart.
"Ready?" Katsa asked from the doorway. I nodded at her and we walked outside to where all the cars were parked. I dragged Katie over to my Red 458 Italia and pushed her into the seat. Easy to say, I was pleased about our destination.
"Has everyone got everything?" I asked through the mind link
"Yep. I think we're all ready to go Sam" Katsa replied. One of the cool things about being a saint is that you can listen in to any telepathic conversation apart from a mate's connection. That's the only one that stays private.
I took a deep breath in and revved the engine.
"Okay then. Lets get this party started"

Jason's POV
We searched for her after she left. We found Nada. Zilch. Except for the backpack by the bridge. And that was worrying.
Her scent had ended after the bridge and we couldn't pick up on it again. I haven't the foggiest why cause we should have been able to. The only reason it could have ended was if she'd jumped.
Once we realised that she had, everything changed. Logan became sad and grieved for his little sister. I know that he really did love her, deep down, it was just that all the power had gone to his head. It was the same with me. I was so drawn to the authority that I forgot to care for my pack like I should. That had changed though, I made sure of that. We'd all grown closer after Samantha's death, all wallowing in despair. Logan and his parents were definately worse though. Her parents screamed at us that it was our fault and although, yes, it was, I never saw them doing anything to help her. They treated her like the rest of us did- Like crap.
"Logan!" I shouted. He came into my room, dragging his feet behind him, dark shadows under his eyes. Just like usual then
"Has the Moonlight pack contacted us yet? How soon till they get here?" I asked. We needed their help, even I could see that. The Moonlight pack was a few hours away but they were the best choice for help. They had the strongest warriors around and they even had one of the Ten Wizard Saints as their Alpha! Sam Taylor, I think, and he's apparently the strongest Saint. I'd never met him but he would be a really great person to have on your side in battle. The situation with my pack meant that we could possibly create an alliance. I'd have to remember to mention that.
"They called a few minutes ago saying they'd be here in around an hour" Logan said, his voice the same monotone that it had been for 5 years. He really needed a mate. I hope he finds her soon. Maybe that would cheer him up a bit.
