Trigger warning: None today

The force that I use as I wrap my arms around his neck causes him to stumble slightly. He regains his posture and follows suit, wrapping his arms around my waist and subtibly pulling me closer. I ball small fists of the top of his shirt into my now white knuckles.

We slowly rock side to side as I sign of contentment as I feel his chin rest on top on my shoulder.

I suck in air remembering his scent, sweet yet not very noticably, small hints of colone fill my nostrols as I feel cold water over us both. We both knew it was going to rain so this was no suprise but neither of us pulled away, not caring if we caught a cold. The tight and warm embrace the main focus currently.

Loud noise fill my ear a the rain continues to pour, hitting the sidewalk and tin roofs, the tin roofs sounding like mall empty bullet cartidges ricocheting out of the bottom of an automatic machine gun.

I slowly pull away from him as he realises his hands from around my waist, he kisses the top of my head in a protective mannor, as a grandparent would possibly do to their grandchildren.

The umbrella that rests in his hand was mannually sprung into action, shelding us both from the rain as his arm rests behind my arm, pulling me closer to him. I shuffle cloer to him and we both smile at each others gestures, we continue down the busy and now soaked road of New York. Talking and laughing as we walked.

I know that was cringy as hell and cliché but I was just breaking down a simple action and trying to really get my writing better. Also I based this off a picture so here it is
