Before either of Danny and Frost could formulate an answer a huge bang came by the metal doors. A woman in a silver hijab and equally silver eyes, wild eyes. A woman with bobbed black hair dressed in red stood next to her and grinned.

"How did you get in- ?!" Humanity stuttered.

"Easy," Convenience said with lips stretched back, "We went old school, smashed our way in." With that, she raised some loose chunk of debris and tossed into the machine that was ultimately blocked by the crystal monster. The grin faded to a look on concentration, "Fate! You have to go!"

Frost and Danny looked at each other with wide-eyes, thoughts racing as Fate turned to the boys and then to Convenience with a pained expression.

In the side leather latch, Convenience brings out a knife and bears her teeth, "Fate! C'mon! We planed this! She turned to her, movements sharp and fierce, "Go."

Fates face tightened to something like grief before running to the boys and yanking them by the collar of their shirts. "We must go,"

Danny scrambled to his feet, "How can we sure that we can trust you?!"

Fate unclinched her hands and let go. "Do you want to stay here instead?"

Frost hesitated before he shrugged, "... She has a point."

A metallic figure that guarded the door and looked like it came right from a steampunk novel creaked and cracked from its position and reached out with grabbing hands before Danny lunged and kicked it a few feet back. "I guess we go with you, huh Fate?" Danny said.

Fate in response pushed them to the exit Convenience and she burst through originally.  The wind howled and the sea down at the bottom of the cliff screeched and roared against the rock.

Both Frost and Danny stumbled, Danny circled his arms backward and Frost declared, "Oh shit-!"

Both fell down and as Fate leaped and a silver portal finally came in sight, swallowing the three of them.

                                                                                        . . .

Danny gasped and shuttered as Frost looked around with wide eyes. "Danny," Frost said, "I know this is an understatement but That Was Intense."

It was the same office that started it all, Danny noted. With its white walls and neat desk. The Only difference was the paper in what could only be in Arabic and the red lines connecting the dotes on random sheets that were near orderly on a wall.

Danny, however, ignored it and looked at Fate, who wheezed and trembled as if trying not to sob. Both Frost and Danny once glanced at each other before looking back at Her.

"We could go back for her," Danny said, "Right?"

She barked a laugh before shaking her head, "I can't. That portal was made before we were affected by the machine, and as of now, I have no powers. I may as well be another woman passing by on the street."

"That makes the both of us, I couldn't even use the wind-" Frost then blinks. "-Say, you're Fate? The same lady that, you know, buried Danny alive?"

"... Yes, unfortunately."

"Good to know." Frost gave one of those smiles that showed that he was up to no good. "What was the deal, anyway? Care to share?"

"Frost, hon."
