CHAPTER 6: Idiots, Potatoes and Flats

The Andersons were here… They were the unknown visitors… Oh no. 

I stood there as shocked as I can be. Why are they here? Most of all, WHAT DO THEY HAVE TO DO WITH CHASE'S FUDGING PLAN?!? 

I might have stood there in my own world for a long time since someone actually started to snap fingers in front of me. 

"Sorry." I said as I regained my consciousness. I was heading to sit between Nikki and Chase , doing everything I can to keep the Andersons away from my sight, but failed since my mom decided to semi-shout telling me to sit between her and my dad.

I couldn't do anything about it since she's my mom so I slowly changed my route and draggingly walked my way to the sofa where they were sitting on.

"Zofeya, don't drag yourself. Please, we have visitors over." My mom begged me. "Ugh! Why did you invite them over then?" I thought to myself.  

"What was that Zofeya? " My dad asked quickly and sternly...  " Nothing! " I chirped out as quickly as I can/ Oops! I might've said it out loud. Oh my...

" I thought so. " my dad said. I'm in trouble. I know it. I know why? because I could see it in my dad's eyes. He has those " You're in trouble. " eyes on. Hey! I didn't mean to say it out loud! 

Just as my dad said those words and gave me 'the eyes' I heard a snicker from across the room. Instict made me snap my head towards the sound and just as I thought, I found chase snickering at his seat. Idiot.

His snickering didn't get him anyway. His parents looked at him almost immediately and told him off about it. Now it's my turn to snicker but only to get told off by my own parents.

I just rolled my eyes, hopefully not seen by my parents.

" Hello Zofeya. I am Kattie Anderson and this is my husband ,  Luke Anderson. We are delighted to be here with you tonight! "

Chase's mother chirped almost as joyful as a young child seeing a store packed with loads of candy with a very lovely smile. 

I have to admit, for a person who had a demon inside her stummy, yes stummy is a word in my vocabulary, she's very beautiful.  Her eyes looks exactly like Chase's.  

Maybe that is where Chase got his beautiful eyes from. Remember! I said he looks incredible but again, he's a jerk and I don't like jerks.

I said hi back. I don't want to be a rude female dog to someone who looks so kind and happy. Oh how I wish Chase was acted more like his mom like when we were best friends but I guess wishes don't happen in real life.

" And here we have my son Chase. I believe you and Chase were childhood bestfriends, am I right? " Mrs. Anderson said still as cheerful as before.

"Yes Mrs. Ander-" " Oh please, call me Kattie " "Uhmm... Okay. Yes Mrs. An- I mean Kattie. We were but sadly we areshkhs" was all that I can say before a hand suddenly came up to my mouth.

"Yes mom but sadly we had a tiny misunderstanding yesterday but we worked it out right Zoe? " Chase said still covering my mouth. 

" Mwhasj kjs ayiu halkdih ahistd?!?! " was what came out of my hand-covered mouth but what I meant was " WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?! " . " See mom! We're the best of buds! " He said now hugging me. 

" GET YOU'RE FILTHY ARMS OFF ME!! " I said squirming out of his embrace and quickly moving as afr away from him as I can at the moment. I don't want to be too far that my parents would get more upset than they already are. 

" Aren't they the cutest! " Kattie squeeled together with my mom. I just rolled my eyes. Rolling my eyes would be another habbit that I might get from this 'get-together'.

"So, when are we going to eat dinner? " I asked my mom eager to get food into my sytem. I am starving. 

"Oh yes! Right! Let us go to the dining room! I made the food myself tonight." My mom said to us. " Zoe, bring Brad and Nikki with us to dinner too!" Oh right! Nikki and Brad was here! I almost forgot. 

I went to get my my fellow idiots from where they're sitting. " Why are you guys laughing and giggling?" I asked annoyed. " Becuase we totally agree with Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. McFly , you guys are soo adorable! "

Nikki said mocking me with what happened a while ago. Stupid idiots with their laughing but I love these idiots anyways.

"Whatever. " was all that I can say to them.  Why am I friends with these two? Please remind me why! Anyways, I dragged my bestfriends up from where they were sitting to the dining room. I'm really hungry. 

As we arrive to the table, there were name tags labelling where we should sit which was weird since we don't usually do this. I saw my name and I wasn't happy. I was put beside Chase.

While my two bestfriends sat across Chase and I. The two men from the two families sat on either ends of the table whilst the two lights of the family sat on the right side of their husbands,

Nothin too normal were talked about during dinner, Things like colors that would match together and ideas of nice places were exchanged but it wasn't until dad said something that slipped his mouth, well I think slipped his mouth.

" So happy to know that Chase would be my futures son-in-law." Dad said. I literally choked on my potatoes when I heard what I think he said.

"WHAT?!?!" I asked instantly. " Oh right, I forgot to tell you sweety. You and Chase are engaged! " my mom said so excitedly. I couldn't say anything.

This was Chase's plan all along! I stood up and excused myself as fast as I can and went straight to the door. Good thing I chose to wear my flats or else I would be running barefoot by now...
