They became friends when Chase moved to the house across from Zofeya when he was 6.
"Oh he lives across? Until now" Yes he did before but not anymore. You'll know later.
Zofeya was born and raised there so everyone already knows everyone from their small town but since Chase's family just moved, everyone wanted to meet them and know who they are.
Since since Zoefya just lived across their house, she was one of the first people to talk to him and they clicked right away just like the parents they were close as ever.
They were inseparable but not until they reached middle school where they started to drift apart... That's when Chase started to become a jerk...
Since then, they started to drift more and more apart and they practically hate each other's guts already because Chase used to tease Zofeya for being a chubby girl throughout middle school with his friends then she worked hard, did her best to become healthier and bam!
She became a cheerleader and Zofeya doesn't want anything to do with Chase anymore since he changed.
And in those years where they were drifting apart, another reason of them drifting is because the hotels of Chase' parents got more and more asenso and so, to protect themselves from any harm..
they transferred to the part of town where most of more successful people live and where people who stay they are hi-tech as fuck.
*Just to let you know, there are two parts of town at each end of town where rich people stay; The one by the cliffs and the one by the parks and reserves*
Chase transferred to the one by the parks and reserves then Zofeya's parents' security agency got bigger and bigger soo they also moved to a safer place.
They moved to the other side of town by the cliffs...
soo yeah.. basically it.
You can already imagine all the bullying she got through middle school but I don't want to name all bc lazy soo yeah that's all for the friendship start-end!
