I was inside a Starbucks shop drinking my Green Tea Frap with Java chips blended in drizzled with Caramel and Chocolate syrup or something, the usual thing I buy. You might wonder , how did she manage to get money when she ran out the door?

Well, there’s thing game called hide and seek. I hid in the garage whilst they seeked or they just didn’t care to look for me at all soo… it’s more on hide than seek. I snuck up to my got the keys to my car, keys to the front door, and my bag which had my wallet, brush, mints, earphones and iTouch. I left my phone on my table so that when they think of contacting me and interrogating me, I won’t get bothered. I snuck back to the garage, went inside my car and drove off.

That happened like half an hour ago and I’m not even complaining. I’m just here chillin on the second ,floor on a sofa ,trying to isolate myself from the world as I listen to Ed Sheeran’s album and think about my ‘engagement’.

All those rumors, that conversation between Nikki and Brad, color combinations, seating arrangement, sudden ‘trust’ douchepoop got from my parents, nice locations… they wanted me to marry him?!? For what!? I don’t love him! I never will. I want to make my own choices, my own journey, my own possibilities and responsibilities. I just want to bawl my eyes out so I did.

I took off my flats and brought my knees together to my chest and hugged them as I cried onto them. I’m young and free! I don’t want love. ‘Love’ comes unexpectedly and brings you to your knees then punches you right in the face and beats you up into pieces. How do I know? Well, let’s just say my heart received a beating and it needed surgery but the surgeon was too busy sucking a sl*t’s STD-infected mouth.

“Why is this happening to me?” I asked myself. “ I don’t know. Why is it happening to you? What is happening to you? “ a female voice suddenly asked. I turned my raccoon-like face around to see a beautiful girl, around my age, with gray eyes and red velvet-red hair dressed in a Starbucks uniform.

When she saw me, her face suddenly had a frown on. “ What happened? Are you okay? “ She asked. I looked at her name tag, “Sofia” it wrote. “ Yup “ emphasizing the “p” sound. “ Are you sure? “ Sofia asked again. I just nodded my head. She just stared at me in disbelief. “ Okay, you’re lying. I could tell by the look in your eyes “ Sofia said. I just sighed.

“ Sofia, can I ask you a question? “ “Sure”  she replied. “Uhm okay… What would you do if your parents arranged you to be married to your former best friend now turned player, douchebag, “it” guy, manwhore and a TOTAL pain in the butt? “ I asked her. “ I would run out from where they told me and go find some comfort in a place that would be isolated in the evening. Why did you ask? Is this what happened to you? “ “No shit Sherlock, OF COURSE! WHY WOULD I EVEN ASK YOU THAT IF IT DIDN’T HAPPEN TO ME?!” I said in my head.

I could never admit something about my life to a stranger… that’s just wrong so instead of saying that, I just shook my head and went straight to my car not caring about how she would react to my actions because right now, all I care about is not caring at all.
