It's been a week since the Halloween dance and Diana hasn't shown up to school. She knew she had to go at some point so she thought she would try today. Dustin tried to comforter as best he could but he knew that sh might be better off being alone for a while. She dropped Dustin off at school she then went to get a coffee. She then dreaded what was gonna have to happen she was gonna have to show up to school. She pulled up into the schools parking lot where there were a few people still outside chatting and Billy Hargrove smoking and hanging out with Steve's ex friend. She knew what she had to do. Diana's pov I pulled up and immediately saw him. I got out of my car slamming the door causing a few kids to jump and turn around. When they did, all eyes were on me. "Hey look it's the town slut." Billy sneered. "Well at least I'm not a man whore." I snapped back. I got closer to him and when I did I slapped him so hard he stumbled back a bit.

(Just pretend that's Billy she's slapping) Everyone started to laugh and he was fuming I left to get into my car and sped off leaving a lot of dirt kick up into the air. I sped down the road to my house and went inside. I hung out at my house for the rest of the day I was about to leave to pick up Dustin when the phone rang. Hello? "Hey Diana its Steve." Oh hi Steve what's up? "I was uh wondering if you could help me win back Nancy?" Oh uh sure just give me a minute can you pick me up? "Yea I'll leave now." Okay bye Steve. "See u in a few."
I called Jonathan to ask him if he could tell Dustin I wasn't able to pick him up and that he could bike home. Steve pulled up a few minutes after. He had roses in his lap. As we drove to the wheelers house I explained to him what he should say. We ended up bickering over something he should say to not sound like a kiss ass. I took the roses from him and pushed him out of the car. Now go! I snapped jokingly. "Fine." I handed him the roses and closed the car door behind him. A few minutes later Steve came back but he wasn't alone the door to the backseat and Dustin jumped in. Dustin what the hell are you doing here!? "Diana!?" "What are you doing here?" "We kinda have a problem Diana." After explaining everything to me and Steve. You mean to tell me some creature you found in our garbage the size of a dart ate mews!? "Yea pretty much." He said casually. I got a burning feeling in my chest I knew something was wrong and so did Dustin when he saw me grab my chest. "Shit Diana did you forget to take your medicine?!" Yup..... that's what I forgot... oh god oh god my chest is burning. "Do you need me to pull over!?" Steve asked quickly turning his attention from the road to us. NO! We snapped. "Just keep driving to our house!" Dustin quickly explained. Steve sped up and we were at me and Dustin's house in minutes. Dustin quickly got out of the car and ran inside to get my medicine. I got out of the car but started to wobble I was starting to pass out. I fell over but felt strong arms wrap around me holding me up off the ground one hand was on the back of my head the other was wrapped around my waist. I look to see who caught me and it was none other then Steve Harrington. My hero I sheepishly said. Dustin came back with my pills and some water I took my pills and sat down leaning against the car for a few minutes I was starting to feel much better. Steve and Dustin were talking about what to do with "dart" while I came back to reality.
