LUVVVVV this recipe. It's perfect for fall and it's moist and it's the perfect base recipe for anything you like to eat with your pumpkin bread.
Ingredients:
1 (15 oz) can Pumpkin purée
4 large eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup of water
2 cups of sugar
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground clovesDirections:
1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9x5 inch bread loaf pans2: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin purée, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and sugar until well blended. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, and spices until just combined. (NOTE: The batter will be lumpy and DO NOT overmix)
3: Optional: You can add 1 cup of nuts or dried fruit or anything you like to have in your pumpkin bread or you can leave it plain. It's good ethier way!
4. Pour batter into prepared loaf pans
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
6: Let then cool for 10 minutes in pan and gently take them out and place on a wire rack until they cool completely.
7: Slice and serve!
