born a vampire ~ confusion~

"Holy hell you're a freaking fairy?!" I moved closer maybe if I touch her skin then I'll know its real.

"yeah, I'm last of my kind too. my parents ummm" she quivered her bottom lip and then continued " my parent were actually killed by your kind..."

There was an awkward silence. I wasn't sure what to do. I then backed up. But no matter how much I moved away I could still feel the warmpth of her colorful and beautifully designed wings.

" I understand if you dont want to be my friend anymore.." she quickly moved inside.

I follow her, just to see that she was back to her human form.

I just stand there in silence, I'm speechless.

" why do you want to be my friend?" was all I could think to ask.

" Honestly since I have a human form I am able to walk around freely without feeling paranoid. So on that note I go to school here. It's quite entertaining too. although I am extremely smarter than the others, I pretend to be a slow minded human." she laughs a bit and then got serious again.

" so I was hanging out with one of the students, when I heard something about an unusual beast that only comes out at night. I was only able to think that im not the only non-human around!"  she smiled and walked closer " I could have a friend thats like me!"

" we are nothing alike!" my face felt hot, my anger pulsed in my teeth. I closed my eyes and put my hands into tight fists.

suddenly I heard howling 'oh gosh I remember this!' I quickly calmed down before wolfs come and attack her.

" if you think about it we are alot alike."  she moved closer, I was able to smell something I wasnt used to, it was sort of a fruit smell, im not sure but I think it was the smell of strawberries.

" we both have to hide our true identities, " she took a step closer " we both cannot eat human food, and we both are very lonly." after that she pulled me into a full embrace.

there was this burning feeling as she squeezed tighter, my skin felt like it was boiling under pressure. my ears were steaming. just then my legs collapsed. she was still holding on to me when I fell. I felt my eyes roll back and I could feel my energy slip away.

I could barley lift my arms up. she quickly let go, she was breathing really hard as if she was out of breathe. she was coughing and holding her throat as if she was choking. I couldnt do anything I was slipping out of consciousness. next thing I know it gets really dark.

I feel an uncomfortable rock beneath my head, and I shoot up as if I just woke up from a nightmare. I look around and im in that room again! my vision was quite blurry but soon it settled back to normal. 

a bit out of breath but I attempt to whisper, " hello?"

"what are you doing up?" she moves out of the corner and closer to me.

" what did you do to me?!" I said holding my chest, it was still burning.

" its daylight time, you know that right? you should be asleep right now! you need your energy for tonight!" she chuckled and continued " come on lay back down."

she went to grab the covers but my anger took over me, o gtabbed her clothing and pilled her closer to my face, I talked with gritted teeth, " what did you do to me??"

she pulled herself away. " dont you feel it?" she said with a confused look.

"feel what?" still gripping my chest.

"the warmpth in here," she pointed to me chest.

I loosened the death hold I had on my chest and slowly start feeling this weird feeling. I cant explain it. my face slowly turned calming and my anger was gone.

I looked up at her " what did you do?" I asked more calmly.

" I warmed your heart." she said with an innocent smile.

she then leaned over and hugged me and I in return hugged her back. im not used to this feeling. maybe because I never felt this from the people who should have showed me this. But thats too late now.

maybe I can get use to this.
