i wake up to an empty house mother and father are out again. they are never home. the only time i see them is before i go to sleep. i used to be able to hang out with them everyday, and visit the city with them, but they suddenly stopped letting me go with them.
i remember the rabbit! i quickly walk to the closet and check on my fluffy white ball. i decided in my sleep, that i will call her rose.
she reminds me SO much of a white rose.
hm, what do rabbits eat? i really wouldn't know I'm not a rabbit.
I'm trying to use my mind reading skills to read the rabbits mind, but i have no luck.
confusing, i open my window and jump to the ground, with bettzy by my side, as she always is. she follows me EVERYWHERE!
i know im not supposed to talk to people, but this will help me.
i stalk all the way to a sign that says stop. hm i hear on my left and i can feel cars roaming the roads, on my right dead silence, and i head that way.
no noise, well besides bettzy's loud meows!! she really needs to quiet down.
i feel an unlikely presence come behind me. i swiftly slide into a alley. it was cold and quiet...too quiet.
"meroof" the screech from bettzy startles me.
"quiet bettzy!" i hissed at her.
"here kitty kitty!" a small voice came from outside the alley.
bettzy starts for the voice but i bend down and grab my cat.
"no. you're NOT leaving me." i whisper once again to my rebel of a friend.
"hello?" i can understand the voice now, it sounded like a young girl, almost like me.
bettzy jumps out of my arms and walks to the mysterious girl.
"meroof." bettzy purred.
"you are so CUTE!!" she squealed. "come with me!" the girl picked up bettzy and ran off.
ahhh. she took BETTZY!!
i step outside of the alley and is pushed against the wall.
"i knew there was someone in the alley!" she smiled.
her face is tanned and she has blue eyes. she has blond flocks of hair everywhere, she is a mess, well i have no right to say that, i mean looks at me.
"my name is carolina!" she held out her hand?
i didn't know how to speak.
"whats yours?" she pulls her hand back to her side.
"ow!" bettzy scratched her way free from the grasp of the young girl.
a sudden feeling flowed threw me that i couldn't control, this was not animal blood, it smelled and felt like no animal. rolling my eyes back and inhale, the sweet scent.
"you freak!" she squealed at me, i didnt notice i was licking her arm. what was i doing? im not supposed to be seen by any human, but here i am licking one? how stupid.
"i-" i speak.
"you talk!" her tone changed from grossed out to totally joyful.
"speak again,please?" she pleaded.
she looks down at her arm then back at me, "would you like to....you know?" she held out her arm were the slice from bettzy's claw.
i just shook my head, even though every part of my body wanted me to drain her. the blood tasted different from animals. i licked my lips and the girl winced at the was i looked at her arm.
"are you some kind of animal?" she speaks threw shaky breathes.
"i-im a monster!" i say as i run into the alley, and sit in the shadows.
"come out, come out, where ever you are?" the girls tone was happy again, and was looking for me?
bettzy came to me, i grab her and jump the wall and speed home, on the way home i pick up some green stuff that makes me itch, for the rabbit. maybe the rabbit likes this stuff.
when i get home i set bettzy down to find my rabbit shredded, i knew exactly who it was, my mother!
