SnowBarry: Come Home To Me

Barry shot to STAR Labs and saw his suit on the stand where it has always been. He grabbed it and suited up. He looked down at himself and let out a smile, it had been so long since he had wore the suit, he'd forgotten how it felt. The team smiled at him him, and he smiled back before taking off to scan the city.

Flash lapped the city and 99% the speed of light as Cisco used speed force energy traces to find the speedster. The only traces he could find were Barry's. Then suddenly, Flash was knocked to the floor by a black blur with red lightning trailing behind it. The speedster smiled as Flash stood up and gave a grin back.
"Hello Flash, back in action? Good." The speedster said.
"Yeah... I've been gone for awhile, but I'm back now, and I'm protecting this city. So... leave." Flash stated in a steady and commanding tone.
"Not until I finish what I've started... we will meet again but for now, I have planning to do so, I'm going to leave you and your pathetic team to find out who I am." And with that, he was gone.

Caitlin had already made her way to STAR Labs by the time Barry had returned. She had a worried look on her face, every time Barry runs away, she would always find herself wondering weather he would come back to her. Orange and yellow flashes of electricity snapped her out of her traces and the second she saw Barry, her face lit up. He turned to her with a smile, and she ran over to him and pecked his lips.
"Thank god you're ok!" She said with a sigh of relief.
"Of course I am, I'll always come back to you." He replied.
Cisco cleared his throat, "Sorry to interrupt but, Barry, any idea who this guy is?" He questioned.
"None, I was gonna ask you the same question." He explained with a confused look on his face.
"Well we should get to work and find out who this speed... demon is, first try!" Cisco beamed with excitement.

Barry simply laughed as Cisco ran to his lab, then he turned to Caitlin, who was also smiling at the childish behaviour of Cisco. Barry looked into her eyes, her sparkling brown eyes and felt like he finally found himself. He could easily get lost in her eyes for days, but usually they close as their lips connect, which always surprises him every time.
"Let's go home" he whispered in her ear.
To which she simply nodded. Not needing anything else here, he picked her up bridal style, and shot out the room.

Barry had this new ability, where if he touches someone in superspeed, they move at the same speed as him. And so the two of them enjoyed the run home, feeling the wind shoot past them, seeing a city that is constantly moving, completely still and silent. It gave Caitlin a chill, but it was also very relaxing, being in his arms, she felt protected, and safe. Being held close by a superhero, let alone her boyfriend would have that effect on a person. In his arms she feels so comfortable.

After what seemed like forever, they made it home, and before Caitlin could say anything, Barry was already preparing food for the two of them. This is just the life they both wanted, at home with each other, and a child on the way. It all felt so right. Barry spent half an hour preparing food, and finally it was ready. So the couple started eating, occasionally smiling at one another and exchanging glances. Once they finished eating, they both headed to bed. They changed into their pyjamas and got into, cuddled up to each other. "Love you" Caitlin said.
"Love you too" He replied.
