8) Magic potions

Caroline sat around a table in the kitchen. She watched me add different herbs into a bowel and while I chanted the spell.

I cut her palm and let her blood flow into the bowel, I chant again. I pour the mixture into a bottle. "Its done. Drink it a day before you.. do it." I tell her and she squeals in joy.

"Please don't tell him, I want it to be a surprise." she squeals again. She attacks me with a hug and thanks me many times. 

The front door opens and everyone comes into the front door. "Whats that love?" my dad asks Caroline pointing at the bottle. She looked to my for an answer.

"She's hallucinating about Bonnie being here and was paranoid about it so I made a potion to stop it." I tell him, he nods.

"Is that what you were thankful for?" he asks, does he ever stop? "No I agreed to watch 'my sisters keeper' its a sad movie." 

"Can I watch?" Kol asks walking into the kitchen. "Eh, sure." Caroline replies. "Right well I'll go get the movie ready and yous get food for it."

I put the movie in my DVD player in my room and made the bed for three people. I sat in the middle, Care on my left and Kol on my right. 

At the ending of the movie me and Caroline were crying. I pass her a tissue and turn to see Kol wiping his eyes.

"There was something in my eyes," he exclaims. "Yeah tears," I had him a tissue and laugh at him.

"As much as I love you guys, get out I'm going to bed." they leave and I crawl into bed.

I wake up to the smell of coffee and a craving for apples. Dragging myself out of bed I walk down stairs, I get a mug of coffee and 2 apples.

Instead of using milk in my coffee I used blood. I know eww. But was surprisingly nice.

Kol made a disgusted face at my coffee. "I have a weird craving for this, don't judge me." 

"I didn't say a word, did I?" I glare at him before he leaves the room. Caroline comes into the room skipping down the halls.

"I'm going away to Paris tonight for the weekend." she says cheerfully. "Cool." I snap, here happiness annoyed me for some reason.

"Whats wrong?" she asks a little scared. "Sorry for snapping but I'm in a mood to not be away from people today." I walk past her and lock my self in my bedroom.

I felt a movement in my stomach, I put my hand on it and listen carefully. No, no, no,no this can't be real.

There was another heart beat. I had another heart beat. How is that possible? I never had... Kyle. I had slept with Kyle before he died.

I felt happy and angry at the same time. Angry because he wasn't here to enjoy this and Happy because I had a part of him with me.

"Caroline?" I shout from by room. She vamp speeds up to my room. I close the door after her and do a spell to silence the room. No one can hear us.

"Whats wrong?" she asked worriedly. "Listen," I put her hand on my stomach. She was shocked when she hared the soft heartbeat of a heart.

"How?" she asked cheerfully. "The night I stayed in Bonnie's I was drunk and I don't remember what happened. Its Kyle's." 

The thought of Kyle and Bonnie made me feel sad and a little lonely. 

"When are you going to tell everyone?" she asked, I didn't want anyone to know about it just yet. "When you get back and if you are we'll tell them together, okay?" I hoped she did for mine and her sake.

"Deal, and I'll help you get through this."

Caroline and my dad left for their trip to Paris and I was left to deal with my current situation alone. Rebekah moved out when we arrived but only an hour away.

I wish she was here, I could really use some girl time. A strong scent of buttery popcorn filled the house. I look outside my door to see Kol carrying popcorn, a box of tissues and movies that made you cry.

"What are you doing?" I ask before he goes into his room. He stopped in his tracks and turned to me, "Eh... Wanna watch a movie?" he asked.

"No but why are you watching sad movies?" I ask walking over to him and seeing that he wanted to watch the boy in stripped pajamas.

 "Do I have to have a reason to watch a movie?" he asked. He liked sad and depressing movies
